We traveled from S CA to Washington recently and we are so happy to be here. One of the things we looked for was authentic Mexican cuisine and our favorite tacos, and this is it!! The flavors, tortillas, salsa bar and extensive menu screams authentic Mexican food I grew up eating in S. San Clemente, CA and frankly made me miss home (and Senior Pedro’s which everyone should try once in life!!). Thankful for a place to come to fulfill the craving I have for Southern California Mexican food.

Our first time eating here and celebrated my Sister’s birthday.
Mike our staff server was very nice and friendly.
Their food serving is great portion and the taste is authentic and delicious. They even gave my sister free chocolate ice cream and a discount. Will come back on my birthday to eat here again.

I got a burrito. It was good, but not the best Also ordered pozole soup it wasn’t the best- giant chunks of dry chicken, but the broth was delicious. Overall, I would recommend this place. There are a lot of menu items I’d like to try. PS. The picture is of the pozole soup.

This is a great place for some awesome food. Staff was very friendly. The salsa and chips were fresh and delicious and the bean dip that comes with the chips was a great addition. Worth a visit for sure. They also have great margaritas. If I lived in the area it would likely be a regular stop.

My recent visit to Fiesta Taqueria & Tequila Bar Downtown Puyallup was just okay. While the service was friendly and attentive, the food fell short of expectations. The dishes lacked the vibrant flavors and authenticity that I’ve come to associate with Mexican cuisine. One of our dishes was served in a hot cast iron pan, which seemed like a great idea, but by the time I finished eating, the pan had become a hazard – most of the chicken, bell pepper burned on it! The cocktail, however, was a highlight, with a good balance of flavors.
The biggest takeaway from our visit is that food quality needs to be prioritized. While good service and drinks can enhance the experience, but subpar food will keep customers away from coming back. With a bit more attention to culinary authenticity, Fiesta Taqueria could become a go-to spot for Mexican food lovers. For now, it’s an average experience that’s worth trying, but not necessarily worth repeating.

Ryan was great. Attentive and left you wanting nothing. He is so kind and was very polite! I have came many times and the service just gets better every time I come with my daughter who is addicted to the flan.
