We recently tried this brand-newly opened taco joint for lunch… We had seen the signs for more than a month that it was coming and were excited about its opening because, duh, we like tacos! And then when I checked out their site and learned they make more than just tacos, as they do pupusas and many other items as well, I was really happy.

Getting there around noon, they were slightly busy with people waiting inside. The temperature inside was ridiculously cold, like they had the AC on while it was 48 degrees outside already…. Made it uncomfortable to be inside. Add to this the amount of time it took to make our order and we were off to a not-so-good start.

The service we received was great, friendly and helpful. The food was decent, but far from great. Pupusa was excellent! I tried their birria pupusa and loved the flavor of the birria inside as well as the consommé. The chicken taco was terrible! It was some sort of chopped chicken and the texture of the chicken was “crunchy” which is nasty, as it seems like it was microwaved or cut with the grain or something that made it simply not right. Plus, I’ve never seen chicken tacos made with chunks of cut (similar to a large dice) chicken.

The chorizo taco was very good! The chorizo was drained nicely before making the taco so it wasn’t too oily and the flavor was great! Their Al Pastor taco had a great flavor, but the meat was very dry and had way too much gristle. It was tough because the flavor was so good we wanted to eat it, but simply had a tough time doing so due to the quality of the meat and its dryness. Lastly, I tried their yuca frita and that was outstanding! It was freshly made, not frozen. It was perfectly fried to give it the crunch/crisp on the outside, but “mashed potato” texture on the inside – It was excellent and so was the mayo-based dip that came with it!

Overall, this visit left us with mixed feelings. We really wanted to love the place, as it’s so close and it would have been our “go to!” But we simply couldn’t get past the issues. They hopefully can work on these and improve and be successful. We’ll definitely return, we’ll just try different items.

No complaints on my part, I did stop during their soft opening and the food and customer service was great, loved the chicken pupusas. I read the reviews about the waiting time during the grand opening, and I do understand the frustration. However, it is to be expected in this area with small business restaurants. I try not to go on the first couple of days due to that issue. The same happened with the Vietnamese restaurant when it opened. Now it’s running smoothly. I will definitely will be stopping by this week again.
To the owners, don’t get discouraged and continue improving your systems and processes to improve waiting time and virtual/in house orders.

My first time trying. The carne asada fries were so good. The meat was full of flavor and I loved the presentation. However, I gave 4 stars because my food was cold upon arrival, and they took a few minutes to finish preparing my meal after I paid so I expected a hot plate. Other than that I did enjoy

I was going to the comic book store next door & decided to stop into the place for a light lunch. Ended up ordering 3 different papayas. The bean and cheese, the cheese & birria. They were all good especially for the price. I also had the horchata which I didn’t love but it was nice to try.
The service was great the cashier was nice, the store and bathrooms were clean.

Despite a Toast delivery driver mixing up our order and delivering the wrong food, the staff and owner were quick to remake the 9 steak tacos we ordered. Everything was absolutely delicious, and loaded with fresh pico de gallo and sides of red and green salsa. This place is excellent for a large group for catering, or any occasion. Don’t pay attention to the reviews that complain about wait times. Be reasonable – this place just opened up, and our tacos were made in less than 10 minutes. They truly put care into the food they’re making. We’re in the neighborhood and looking forward to next time.

Just tried Fiesta! for the first time. We ordered the Pollo Santa Fe, Garnachas, Fried Yucca, and Queso with chips. Everything was absolutely delicious. We will be returning! Customer service was top tier. The cashier was so nice and gave great recommendations. (Sorry, couldn’t include photo because the food got eaten too fast!)

I’ve seen them just open up.They are right outside my neighborhood. In vista woods. I was waiting for a place like this for 4 years to open up near me. The food was great. I spent a lot of money because I bought a lot of stuff. But the prices are fantastic. It’s better than some restaurants in downtown d c, and the prices are better. I had the birria quesadilla and the cheese pupusas. The food was on point, the taste was there. The menu has a variety of foods and platters. Definitely coming back. I also got the soup. The chicken soup for my mom and she enjoyed it greatly. About time, we get something good like this around Stafford!

From the moment you walk into Fiesta! Taqueria y Pupuseria, you’re greeted with an atmosphere that feels both vibrant and welcoming. The décor radiates warmth, and the lively yet relaxed energy makes it the perfect spot whether you’re dining with friends, family, or just treating yourself.

The food is nothing short of impeccable. Every dish bursts with authentic flavor, from the perfectly seasoned tacos to the pupusas that are simply out of this world. You can taste the care and tradition in every bite, and the freshness of the ingredients sets this place apart from anywhere else in the region.

Service here is equally outstanding. The staff are attentive, friendly, and genuinely make you feel like part of the Fiesta family. They go above and beyond to ensure every visit is memorable, which is why I find myself coming back again and again.

Fiesta! Taqueria y Pupuseria has quickly become my favorite spot in the Stafford area, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. If you’re looking for a place with incredible food, impeccable service, and an atmosphere that makes you feel right at home, this is it!

The Birra Quesadilla was absolutely amazing. Not a huge fan of how they prepare their carnitas. Will definitely be back for their other tacos though! Also the queso was great. Might need to order two orders of chips though. Ours was small but im not sure if that was a fluke or standard.
