We have ordered food here before and got the fajitas. They were absolutely delicious and they sent plenty of chips. This rating is for today. We just got through eating. The water tasted like dirty snow and the tea wasn’t much better. Our waiter We had to keep waving down if we needed something and when he brought out the food he didn’t even put in my husband’s order. We had to wait. When we got our food, one was just refried bean enchilada, shredded cheese enchilada which were cheaply done. The chicken and pork were good. The ground beef enchilada like hospital cafeteria food. Highly disappointed this time. They were also hooping and hollering the whole time like if they were taking shots in the back. We almost walked out right after ordering which we should have done. Definitely not worth the time or money this time.

I will say the portion are huge. The food is good. I don’t know if its just the place where my wife orders from in peoria that we eat some of the time.that I’ve grown accustome to but to me it doesn’t taste as good as that place.

The only complaint is the lack of seasoning in ground beef, everything else was amazing. I suggest the large daqari if you have time to spare❤️ The wait staff was very attentive and even made special alterations to our dishes. We will definitely be back… maybe just with sazon lol

Excellent experience, food quick, hot, fresh, authentic.
I ordered Carnita Taco, came w chips and salsa, Tomatlla sauce, Pico Degyo(sorry for misspelling), Refried Beans, Spanish Rice, I ordered small Cheese Dip.
Service was ok but kept having to ask for things, it wasn’t busy @3:30ish afternoon. Seems more of a communication problem shaking his head saying “OK” but not really hearing me, he did speak English, but seemed rushed for and there were only 2 other tables in whole restaurant with 4 or less ppl.
Overall I highly recommend!

Not fancy by any means but it doesn’t have to be. I had the steak quesadilla and it was very good. I also enjoyed the salsa; I probably would have drank it through a straw if I had one. The chips tasted a bit like old oil but the salsa made up for that. Definitely worth a return trip.

As a Mexican myself I was disappointed. First time here as I’m new to this town and ordered a steak plate w beans and rice. When they dropped it off I asked for some tortillas and waited 10 min with my food getting cold and nothing ever arrived. At that point just ate my food up fast and got out of there to never come back. Any Mexican restaurant should know tortillas is a huge part of the meal so that was annoying. In addition the steak was super salty. Next time just go to Tony’s tacos or Hacienda Leon.

No matter what I do when ordering online they fail to follow basic instructions. They used to have a no rice and no beans on their online site but changed to no rice extra beans and no beans extra rice. Either one still get beans and rice. Even putting in special instructions like the Pic shows still rice. Management fails to have employees double check orders.

Visiting Bloomington for a wedding and needed a good Mexican meal. This place certainly fit the bill. Extensive menu with popular Mexican fare plus many other dishes. My spicy enchiladas did not disappear. Generously sized and quite spicy. The fried ice cream is a delight to the eyes and the palate, and definitely needs to be shared!!
