Fiesta Mexico is a local favourite among many Kentucky families (including mine!) and friends. One of my friends’ families goes once a week since the Mexican food here is so consistently good. As soon as you are seated, they will bring you a complimentary hot basket of nachos and fresh salsa. The restaurant has been recently remodeled featuring artwork depicting Mexican houses, tortilla making, and the new seating booths are lovely. They also play Mexican soap operas on the TVs and play Spanish music. My favourite dish to get is the Pollo Bandito, with a side of cheese dip (queso) to indulge with! The plates are always served piping hot and the portions are more than generous. Highly recommend this local spot, but come hungry!

The food came out separately (the fajita meat took 15 minutes to make an appearance but was sizzling) tasted great. The flavors are good and portions were good. The service was decent but server wasn’t concerned when my table mate asked about his food not once but twice. We were told to be patient but in my opinion the food should come out together and not in batches with such a long period of time between the two.

Food was delicious and the service was great! The building is definitely on the older side, but by no means was it dirty. I had the Chicken Fajitas, my wife had the grilled chicken strips covered in cheese dip, and my son had the same. We enjoyed everything, and found the prices to be very reasonable. If you are on the south side of Nicholasville and find yourself craving Mexican food, then I would highly recommend giving this place a try.

Good food but the service could have been better. We waited inside the door for a few minutes while the cashier rang up some customers. Then she started looking at her phone. I finally asked if we were at the right door to get a table. She looked up and said yes, then seated us. I ordered a Corona and got a Coors Light which I drank because it was open. My companion and I both received more items than we ordered and were charged for them. The Queso dip was really good as were the chips and salsa. The food was all pretty good and it arrived quickly.

I feel horrible because I forgot to write a tip! My waiter was amazing and the chicken enchiladas rocked. This is my family’s favorite Mexican restaurant. Always amazing!

My wife and I stopped by during our trip to nearby Wilmore, KY. We ordered the Fajitas for two, with both chicken and steak. The food was delicious! The pico de gallo, guac, rice, and refried beans all tasted fresh, and the meats were not dry. The grilled onions and peppers were absolutely delicious as well. The complimentary tortilla chips with a bowl of salsa was a pleasant starter to the meal. Our server was very pleasant and checked on us often to make sure we had everything we needed.

Great place on the weekend nights for atmosphere but during the week very slow and tvs off and just not much feel at all. Lunch specials during the week are a wonderfully affordable price for the family or one. Dinner isn’t crazy but could be slightly cheaper but other then that I’d say it’s a must visit at least once and see how ya feel place

Food was ok, honestly I feel it’s not as good as it used to be. Service is why I won’t be back, I had to wait (5-10 mins)for her several times to come by as I needed something and I get she’s busy but felt we were her lowest priority , she literally walked away as I was speaking when taking my order … so I had to wait to catch her to finish, needed to add rice and beans and it took longer then the whole meal to come out, cheese dip was cold and for the price it should be melty hot, my son got a kids meal and she charged us a full size drink.. now if he had drank the entire full size and refilled ok but didn’t and when I asked it to be fixed on the bill they refused … she made us feel like we were bothering her and the absolute attitude I got when nicely asking for something has made this our last time here. There are other Mexican restaurants in town better and they really should value every guest and make sure the service is at least decent. I mentioned our terrible service at check out as well and not even a sorry they’ll do better or anything just ignored me.
