We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express which is within walking distance (…. we took the car). We were a group of 8 grown ups and where seated at a large table in the family area. This was great! We enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Our waiters were very friendly. A restaurant I can really recommend when staying in Cortez, Co.

Good menu items to choose from. Reasonable prices. I had the carnitas burrito. Very big and full of meat. The taste was a bit bland and lacked salt. But good dish overall. Service was pretty routine. Good location next to a hotel and a gas station.

We had a great lunch, we shared the super burrito. It was very good and enough for the two of us to share. The food was great, our server was very nice. The restaurant feels like a Mexican restaurant should, beautiful bright painted furniture, lots of plants, cool Mexican decor and festive music. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. We would come back again.

The staff services were excellent! A lady who’s served us is amiable and well cared for. The food was simply tasty and authentic
I ordered the Fiesta Grande with ground beef. The crispy shell and salad were good!

Way overpriced crappy food
The only thing that tasted good was the pacifico with lime.
And I could have bought a case for the price of two.
I love Mexican food but this place was a joke!
Charged me almost 50 bucks for two beers some shity rice and beans I couldn’t eat and three tacos that were burnt and taste like salt.
Don’t waste your time or your money like my wife and I did!
Not to mention the service was shit !

Came in late at night after a long day traveling. Our smiles were as our stomachs when we were greeted/served by our waiter Cristian. He was hospitable and very attentive. And the food drove it home, the carne asada burrito enchilada style sealed the deal.

When you walk into this restaurant you are immediately transported to a small little Mexican village except it had AC. The additions of the small Mexican vignette hid the once former skeleton of another restaurant that stood before. The foliage clings to the atmosphere and if you don’t pay too close attention to the fake birds hanging from the ceiling you’d think you were hearing them singing in the background. The hostess seated us with an authentic smile and ended up being our waitress. I had previously read the reviews and ordered the coconut margarita which was as it sounds, coconut. Very good, but my fiancée had the fiesta margarita which was just as good. The chips and salsa wasn’t the best I’ve had, but I am NEVER one to turn down chips and salsa. I didn’t even mind the additional charge for one more round. I ordered the burrito Mexicano and it arrived about as fast as it was ordered, and gone just as fast as it hit the table. Everything was quick and delicious. Highly recommended.

Ordered the guacamole and flaming fiesta dinner. It was all excellent! Very fresh, made from scratch gaucamole which is not easy tp come by. Our waiter was super nice and on top of everything. I was also grateful they accommodated my gluten allergy. Good spot for a late dinner too.

We ate here one evening and everything was perfect—the food was good and plentiful.
The second night, we sat down and the waiter arrived after three minutes, apologizing for the delay. We had no idea what delay he was talking about; by our standards, he was actually quite fast. We ordered two variations, exactly like the first night: a first course without beans and a second course with chicken instead of beef.
They brought us the dish WITH beans and the second one with beef. We didn’t say anything because we hate to waste food.
After dinner, the waiter brought us an ice cream to apologize for the “delay,” which, in our opinion, didn’t happen. It was clear the actual problem was the beans, which I had left on the side of the plate, completely visible. I didn’t want the ice cream, but I ate it so as not to be rude (ice cream with CORNFLAKES for Italians, seriously?!). They could have at least asked us what kind of ice cream we wanted before bringing it, especially since my partner is intolerant and couldn’t eat it.
Apologies, Mr. Waiter, for the small tip, but that’s the reason.
Anyway, you should eat here, food is good and they are nice! Errors happens.
