Hadn’t been here in over 19 years. I ordered a small menudo and it was ok. The tripe tasted like it had been over cooked, but I did come in late so who knows? My daughter ordered the ground meat gordita with a side of rice and beans. The meat had no flavor and was disgusting, the beans tasted old, and the rice was ok. I’ll give them the credit for the fresh corn tortillas and butter! Overall, one time for the one time, but not coming back.

First time visiting, went because it had a 4star rating. When we initially pulled up at around 7 there was only a couple of cars in the parking lot which was weird. We go in and the place was in deed empty. They serve chips and salsa which was good. We got margaritas which was Awful. I had a peach margarita, tasted like pre-made mix you can get out of Walmart with some thick peach syrup on top. I could not finish it. I got the combo Enchiladas, the food reminded me more of Rosa’s Cafe not an authentic Mexican restaurant. Would not return.

This place is a good place if you want some Mexican food. However, I felt like the food was made over a period of time and then nuked in the oven/microwave. The food was delicious, but it wasn’t fresh.
The service was okay, they forgot our tortillas and the servers don’t check on you.
I would still recommend this place to anyone, but the food may be a hit or miss if you are looking for fresh authentic Mexican food.

I have been coming here over 30 years, however today September 7, 2025 will be the last visit. The ground beef was so bland, it had to be soaked in salsa, and that was only one more bite after the first. The guacamole was a waist of good avocados. I suspect it will not be open long, unless there will be a new chef. ABSOLUTELY

Me and my husband love this place we go once a week, the menudo is the best we have tried from any Mexican restaurant that we have gone to. The camarones a la diabla are delicious. When the covid pandemic started we tried several other restaurants trying to find a suitable replacement for their menudo since they were temporarily closed and found none, Fiestas menudo is the absolute best with no competition about it.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE HAD AT A RESTAURANT.
We got seated within ten minutes, the downside is that we got seated with two other people for a table that seats 6 (WHICH WE GOT CHARGED AN AUTOMATIC TIP BECAUSE OF IT). When our food came out, we hadn’t gotten everything. We waited for about 20+ minutes for my friends shrimp, and my tortillas. Still hadn’t come after the 20 minutes, tried flagging workers down but they looked at us, and ignored us. When we finally got our waitress to come talk, we told her about how he still haven’t gotten all over food and she said “I will go tell the woman” which the woman is literally herself, my friend proceed to ask for a refill which he never got for another 30 minutes. When we finally got the rest of the food, he still hadn’t gotten his drink. Instead of the red restaurant cup that he was using, they actually ended up giving that to somebody else and gave him a to go cup instead. At that point, we never even gotten our utensils yet so we had to wait for an extra 15+ minutes for that as well. By the time that we had gotten everything, the original Plate of rice and beans and main entrée was very very cold so we asked her to go boxes instead. Then we went to go check out, I looked at my tab and somehow my $35 max order turned into $54.20, I looked at the itemized receipt and they told me that The margarita that I ordered (which was small) was apparently a “jumbo margarita” I told them that I didn’t even get a jumbo one and they said “oh it’s the same price” OKAY SO WHY DIDNT YOU GIVE THE JUMBO SIZE??? And then I notice that they added a $9.20 some dollar tip on their own accord that I NEVER APPROVED! I go home and go to sleep only to wake up at 3:22 AM and throw up because the fish I tried from my friends plate made me sick because it was not 100% cooked. The fish did taste funny but I thought maybe it was maybe the batter. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND WILL NEVER GO BACK. Want to mention we are white and I think this is also why we got the treatment that we did. Not to mention the people that were behind us kept sending alchoholic drinks back because they were no good and said they won’t pay for it. We got low quality food with low quality service at a high price that was NOT worth it. I also want to mention that at check out they were trying to overcharge my friend after he said it was already wrong. The woman was literally arguing with my friend on what he got when he’s the one that ordered it. I will never recommend this place. The loud ass band they had was WAY TOO LOUD to where I had to SCREAM for my friend to hear me. Absolutely awful. If you can’t handle a packed restaurant then have a capacity limit.
