Went to meet a friend for lunch. Online there’s a lunch menu but there actually isn’t one. The food is definitely over priced. The rice has no flavor the beans were super salty and looked old. The tacos were blah.

The tacos were tasty, the service was impeccable, and they had a mariachi band jamming in the corner. What more could you want? Oh yeah how about a frozen margarita with freshly blended strawberries??? Will definitely be back

Best chicken fajitas I ever had. Chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The rice & beans were good as well. 9/10 ‼️ Next time I’ll have to get a side of queso.

This place I thought would be good. So disappointed it’s not. Chips tasted burnt. Salsa was questionable. Meat was very low quality, we ate only about 10% of the dish before getting up and paying. It was $65 dollars for two dishes and some cheese dip. Overall, I would not go out of my way for this place. If for some reason you like the food, maybe it’s just not my style. But I know the pricing is extra high for what I would expect.

Pretty disappointed overall, the shrimp in my tacos were very dry and was littered with some kind of mystery gristle that was very salty, the ground beef seemed to be of poor quality with no seasoning whatsoever and the yellow rice was tooth chipping hard. Considering we spent over $60, I really only feel like we received $25 worth of food, pretty disappointed as we were excited to finally eat here.

Great food, cold beer and nice atmosphere. Birria tacos are top notch. New owner is nice and will make sure you are taken care of.

Ordered 2 carne asada tacos and 2 shrimp tacos. Asada was great as usual but shrimp was not. I questioned if shrimp was cooked and they felt cheap and flavorless. I’ve had much better from here in the past. Still a great place to eat though.

Wonderful food and excellent service. We had the Arrachera and a steak chimichanga. Both were perfect — carefully flavored and well presented. Best Mexican food in Baton Rouge. We lived in Mexico for three years and I can assure you the tacos al pastor at this restaurant are authentic and also perfect. The service was attentive and courteous. We tend to be very picky about restaurants and we were both delighted by this experience and meal, and will definitely be back often.

The portions are huge, and the food tastes fresh and delicious. The cozy ambiance with pleasant Latin music adds to the fun. Though it’s a bit pricey, the fantastic flavors make it worth it!

Waitress was great, she checked on us and refilled drinks in a timely manner.
For a restaurant with less than 10 people in it, 2 quesidilla plates should not have taken 30 minutes to prepare. Although the food was good, the chip salsa was terrible.
Edit: Raised from 3 to 4 stars due to genuine and respectful words from the owner.
