This place is authentic. I love the decor. Hidden gem in Pickens. The food is always fresh, and their homemade tortilla chips and salsa never disappoint. Very friendly and timely. Very good prices for the amount of food you get!

The meals weren’t really photogenic It’s like the food was plopped on the plates and brought out. My hubby had arroz con pollo y camerones. It had tons of onion, peppers, squash and mushrooms. It wasn’t bad he says. I had gone to wash my hands when the server took everyone’s order. He said he’d come back. We had to track him down and I ordered shrimp and rice. Everyone got their food, except me. The manager saw this and went in the back to check on my food. Everyone else was done eating. The rice was overcooked and clumped and the shrimp rubbery. Thumbs and we’ll keep returning to El Agave when in Pickens. But the way, we went between 2-2:30. It wasn’t busy and it should have been better all around.

Went here after a family event, there were 25 of us. They had tables pulled together with chips and salsa waiting when we arrived. Did and drinks arrived quickly. The staff was awesome and kept up with drink refills like it was nothing. I highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back.

My first time visiting was a great experience. The customer service, food, and prices were all good. There were six of us, including kids, and we all had a good meal. My only “complaint” was that there were so many different options that it was hard to decide! We will be going back.

Never had the fried ice cream so good.fast service and my food was awesome…and for all that food rrally is was fairly cheap..i mean that was a lot of great food and friendly service..i mean you cant beat that….i will be back

It’s was all great!! My only complaint is they need to do something about their greasy floors I about fell leaving, my son about fell coming in. Lawsuit Waiting to happen. Google what to use on Grease in the Floor! I could tell them what we used at the DQ, but may get us in trouble!!
