Food was good not the best Mexican I had before. Service was slow but they was trying so I gave points for that. I order Diet MTDew and they refilled with reg when I ask he answered yes its diet. lost respect for them not being open about charging a 3%service charge for credit/debt cards use until you are at checkout and I didnt see any ATM to get cash.

I travel all over the Midwest and I live in Chicago with some of the best Mexican food in the United States. This restaurant is a must-visit if you happen to come into town. Excellent service, Excellent food, and the best Long island I have had in a long time.!!

Great Mexican restaurant with great portion sizes. The margarita pitchers are decently priced as well with unlimited chips and salsa. I got the Jalisco special and it was more than I could handle in one setting.

I eat here once a week on average. I think this is the best Mexican restaurant in the area in terms of the taste of the food. The service is always above average, too.

My husband and friends have been coming here for 26 years since they were Norwegians working locally for Alcoa. The food is consistently excellent. Lunch specials today Exceeded our expectations. Shrimp cocktail was gazpacho on steroids, almost a dozen shrimp served in a mild thick tomato sauce with avocado. I had the Cancun lunch special with grilled vegetables and chicken served over Spanish rice and covered with cheese.
Top it off with chips and guacamole got the perfect lunch!
Another visit,
April 2023… In the mid-90’s my husband was in Kentucky working at an Alcoa company cross training workers from their Norwegian plant. One of his favorite places to eat was Fiesta Grande Mexican Restaurant. We always stop in when we are passing through the area for an excellent lunch. Javier, the restaurant’s owner and Mike developed a special friendship all those years ago. Almost 30 years later, Javier and his family continue to thrive with several restaurants.
Their lunch menu is excellent, $7.50 for a small plate, I had a chicken chimichanga with salad, rice, and beans. Mike had his favorite a cold shrimp cocktail soup with avacado and cilantro. Javier, Jr wanted us to try his favorite soft tacos de elpastor with pork and pineapple topped with sweet onions and cilantro.

After hiking 8+ miles at Jeffery’s Cliffs without any snacks packed, and every place on the Kentucky border being permanently closed or closed on Sunday, this place came in clutch. The chips kept coming and the Mexicana quesadilla was pretty good. Dinner for two under $30 (before tip) as well, which is rare.

The non-alcoholic pina colada was so yummy. And the shredded chicken chimichangas meal with rice & beans was delicious. Servers are funny & very polite. Definetly recommend trying them out y’all!
