New to the place. Good service at first then waited a while to get the check. Cute place on the square. Ordered the simple grilled chicken quesadilla and for whatever reason the seasoning was way too salty and they used white cheese on top of that which intensified the saltiness. You simply cannot go wrong with this dish and it’s my go to when I don’t know what to get. What was it? The beer on the draft is actually cheap at $4 for the large glass. So yes maybe I should have gotten the beer. Margaritas on the rocks was so strong I couldn’t even finish. The only reason why this gets the crowd is because of the central location. Not sure if I’d be trying this place again when you got other places to eat on the square.

We had the vegetarian tofu chicken fajitas. Amazing. I also ordered a side salad, which was delicious even after I removed the shredded cheese. I really liked putting the tofu chicken strips on the salad. So good! The grilled veggies, beans and rice that came with the fajitas were also tasty. This was some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever tasted. Perfectly seasoned. Good service and nice setting too. The salsa was also a standout. Highly recommend.

We had a very good meal and experience at the Fiesta Grande Brownwood. The atmosphere is very colorful with a distinct Mexican flair. The menu features all the normal favorites and is pretty large. The food was good and to me seemed more Tex Mex than traditional. The service was friendly but not as attentive as it might have been.

Service was incredibly fast! I ordered the lunch special spicy burrito and a house margarita. The burrito was served hot and had a nice amount of cheese but the meat filling was very bland, no flavors of garlic, cumin, oregano or any other Mexican herb/spice.

The food and margaritas were good. Pretty average for a Mexican restaurant, but the service was abysmal. Waited 15 minutes to order while watching our server just standing at the bar talking to the bartender. We had to ask someone else for chips and salsa because our server never brought them. After our order was placed we never saw our server again. Someone else brought our food out. 20 minutes after we finished eating we still hadn’t seen our server and needed checks and boxes, asked another employee to help us and she said okay then never brought us anything or found our server. 10 MORE minutes later we stopped another employee who did help us. Still never saw our server again. I definitely won’t be returning.

Service was horrible. This restaurant has low ratings for health violations! The food is low quality with cheap ingredients. The server and the manager were rude. It took 20 minutes to get the check then he never returned to take the payment. The manager gave us a $2 discount on the check. Was never offered refills. Refill of chips is extra. When I asked the female manager for her name, she walked away! She was the manager on New Year’s Day in the evening. Regret going to Fiesta Grande!

Food here was amazing. My husband loves a good street taco…. and we have been to several Mexican restaurants…. but he said this was by far the best tacos he has ever had. He got the birrea tacos and loved them. We all tried them and they had very good flavor. All of our food was good and came out hot. Service was also good and waitress kept drinks refilled and our table cleared off any dishes we were finished with. I would recommend this place. After we finished we walked around the square and it is such a cute little place. Western themed and has some good places for pictures.
