First time eating on Mass Street and picked fiesta Cancun to find a new local favorite Mexican restaurant. Knowing parking is hard to come by in the area, that was the most difficult part of experience. Was not busy for the size of restaurant or after work hours on a Friday. Hubs and I loved our food. I ordered something safe to try for the first time visit. Chicken flautas. Came with refried beans and rice. Very good. Hubs ordered fish tacos and no complaints. We will definitely return to try other menu selections. Pricing was very reasonable and competitive if not lower than other Mexican restaurants we have dined at in area.

The burritos are awful. Terrible quality of food. For how long I waited to get the food you’d think it would be edible. Don’t order the spinach dip it’s a joke. You’re better off stopping by McDonald’s. At least there you’d get your moneys worth. If you want to be able to hear yourself think don’t eat here. If I could put negative stars I would. -3 and that’s me being generous. Do yourself a favor and get a frozen meal before deciding to spend money here.

Taco Tuesday is great $3 street tacos 5/5. They have wonderful chips and salsa. Cheese dip is thick. Beans a little spicy. Rice is 50/50 either perfect or too hard. Other food we’re had there chimichangas, enchiladas, tortas, has been anywhere from 3-4 out of five. LOTS of tvs so great for sporting events. Big booths. Fun spot to go too. Crew is so nice and very welcoming. Biggest negative is wait time for food is much longer than most Mexican restaurants. Be prepared to wait 30-40 minutes for food

BEST MEXICAN FOOD AND SERVICE IN KANSAS! Go here and see Brandon, Rubin, or Maryann. While every other restaurant was closed or closing early due to weather this place stayed open and made my birthday so special. Food was delicious. Tequila went down way too smooth. The service and people put this place over the top. Thank you again Fiesta Cancun!

This is a great Mexican restaurant to try if you’re in Lawrence. We stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon and were immediately seated and given chips and salsa. Our waitress Dani was very attentive and friendly, as was the rest of the staff. My dad had accidently misread the menu and ordered a different meal then he thought he was ordering and the staff were great about quickly getting him what he actually wanted to order, with no hassle at all. We really appreciated it, especially since it was our mistake. The food tasted great. My dad raved about how good his enchilada was- even better compared to the one made at his favorite Mexican place so you know it was good good. My street tacos were tasty too. It wasn’t busy at all so it was nice and quiet. It’s a very nice looking place inside and it was VERY clean, sparkling almost. I also like the nice little outside eating area. Definitely would stop in again when in Lawrence.
*As for accessibility the is a lip on the front entrance and the door is very heavy. It might be possible to navigate a wheelchair through if the center tables are moved slightly out the way but a walker/rollator/crutches, etc., would be able to navigate just fine. The bathroom is large with grab bars but no automated door button.

I had the fried fish. It was crispy yet moist. It was very tasty. It came with rice, lettuce, avacado, tomatoes, limes & assorted salsas. This is a locally owned Mexican restaurant. Belly was happy.

we’ve been here 3 times with my boyfriend and every time we always get great food and service. I would recommend to try the place out, Sundays they have specials and menudo.

Stopped in today for an early dinner, and may I say, this was some of the BEST Mexican food I have ever eaten! The service was top notch, Miguel was great. Friendly, attentive, and he had such a welcoming personality. Their refried beans were out of this world and the Dollarittas were delicious and just what the Doctor ordered!
