Well let me start by saying the convenience of being at a “truck stop” is nice. Now on to the food and service. The chips were greasy and ,the salsa was tomato juice with cilantro in it. I ordered fajitas with shrimp, beef, and chicken. It came with 4 shrimp, very chicken or beef. Mostly vegetables. What was surprising to me is the time it took to order to the time I got my food was approximately minutes. So it must have been sitting there waiting for someone to order this. He took my order, walked to the kitchen and brought it out. Bud it takes longer to cook and plate this meal so don’t give me some bs reply to the review. I’m just letting others know. As far as the atmosphere in general everything was good. So take your 2 stars and improve it to 5.

We stopped in Onawa for the night and popped in for dinner…. It was literally right across the street from our campground (also a wonderful place!) Pitcher of margaritas ✅

Everything was so tasty!! Fajitas Brava Fiesta was super!! Service was great, our guy was running between several tables (they were busy, which tells us they were good!) and the check for both of us with the pitcher of margaritas was $50… I thought that was pretty reasonable!

Don’t let that exterior fool you… walk inside and both dining areas are quite nice. Food is great and a massive menu for everyone to find something they like. We were on a busy night so service was a bit slower than I’d expect, and we had to flag down a waiter a couple of times, but the servers were nice and accommodating.

Food was absolutely delicious and very authentic. Chips and salsa were so good and my steak tampiquena was done perfectly. We came upon this place just passing through and were so pleased that we stopped, I even got some salsa to go!

A small group of us went for my friend’s birthday Saturday around noon. About half the main dining area was full with mostly families. We had a friendly server who took our orders quickly and joked around with us. Our food came out before we got too far into our second bowl of chips and salsa which we couldn’t stop eating- they were just hitting the spot. All of our food came out at the same time, piping hot, and delicious! I don’t remember what everyone had but they all enjoyed them and ate too much lol. I had the chicken fajita salad. It was a decent sized portion with plenty of both chicken and veggies. Sour cream and guacamole were good but I almost didn’t need them. The server overheard us say it was my friend’s birthday (she did NOT want them to know) and treated her special. We’ll all be back!

We are heading back to Alabama from Sturgis, found this place by chance just off I29. Food was good, service was excellent! Jumbo margarita was only $4.99 and was fabulous! Will stop again I ever in the area.
