Watery tasteless salsa, I ordered a chalupa and a tostada, and as you can see, they gave me the same thing twice. The server did not offer to swap it for something else. Stated that’s just how they make it. I’m new to the area and really big on Mexican food this was not impressive at all, so I will not be back.

The restaurant was very busy and seemed to be short staffed that night. The Bartender came to take our drink and food orders, and other staff helped us when he was back at the Bar. Everyone was friendly and helpful despite the busy night.

This was my first time at this place and i liked it the service was good for a friday night and the food was good. I just expected that the nachos were a bigger plate with more food and looked more appetizing and not so bland… other than that i recommend this restaurant also the churros were super delicious

I dont know what to say about this place. I orderd beef notches and asked the waitress what type of beef. She answered ground beef. I thought it was authentic and she said you are in the USA. What a smart ass! After a good 20 min. wait I got a plate full of greasy cheese and tortilla chips. I refused the nachos as the manager tried to explain this is normal. I don’t think so, I’ve ate alot of nachos in my day. Service is terrible they cant evern refill my sweet tea. Avoid this place and drive to the next Mexican restaurant, you will be happy you did.

Please make sure that you’re checking your receipts before leaving so that you’re not getting overcharged. A waitress that’s been there for at least 10 years just tried to charge me $8 for a large chips and salsa when it’s only $5 on the menu. Unfortunately, every single time I go there, someone’s trying to charge me a different price for the same item. Just make sure you’re not getting ripped off because they’re definitely doing it!!

This is NOT authentic Mexican food. I hate to be the one to say it, but this food was bad all the way across the board. (Check my other reviews, I went on a mission to find the best Mexican food in Douglasville so I’ve had my share of good and bad experiences.) It was our first visit to this Mexican restaurant, so we ordered a lot of food to try. Carne asada, steak fajitas, burritos, ceviche, rice and beans, chicken tenders and fries, and of course chips and salsa and a side of queso.
One item was appetizing and that’s the free chips and salsa, they were delicious. The rest of the food lacked flavor, the meats seemed low quality, it was just all around terrible food. This is not authentic Mexican cuisine, I would say “Tex Mex” would be more accurate.
Our wait times were horrendous also. The poor waitress was doing her best, but it seemed like she was being stretched to her limit. I don’t blame her at all, she did what she could. We waited forever to order, waited forever to get food, waited forever to get the check. I just wanted to get the check and leave, but we had to wait and wait to get our check.

We come to this location a lot. Today we ordered take out and did not have good experience. We place a lot of orders for our events. I called and placed an orders for 5 orders of the birria tacos and 5 orders of the shrimp tacos. The order was completely wrong. There were items missing from the order. I asked for the manager and his words were you didn’t pay for the items missing. How about get someone else to answer the phones and put the orders in correctly. We paid what we were given by the girl that answered the phone. There should have been 15 birria tacos and 15 shrimp tacos. We got 4 birria and 6 shrimp tacos. We never experience this when we dine in.

They DO have Birria Tacos. It isn’t on the menu- just ask your waiter.
Comparing to a Birriaria (all they do is Birria) where we were first introduced to this deliciousness in San Antonio, TX… well this isn’t quite the same. For one, here it is loaded with onions and while I like them, so many onions takes over the flavor. The flavor was just missing the depth but we did finish the plate. Also, they serve it with a side of soup instead of aux jus for dipping. I suppose that is their way to make it an actual side. The little cup is hot sauce. We came here just for the Birria so I couldn’t attest to the rest of the menu.

Starving today, my daughter and I stopped in to have lunch. We ordered from the Lunch Special menu. I ordered the Taco, Enchilada, Burrito Combination and my daughter ordered the Texas Fajitas. Chips and Salsa were good. Service was excellent. Food arrived promptly. Everything was good size and tasted great. This location is highly recommended!

Hey if you ever eat at Fiesta Azteca and use a card. Watch your account. They tried to charge my account $14.67 more than what I agreed to pay. It’s a good thing I transferred funds for the amount I agreed to into another account and not my primary account or I would have never known. Food was ok service was lacking. I had to hunt my server down and found her on her phone. It had a good atmosphere.
