I had their equivalent to and Hawaiian pizza. It was delicious. It had a very nice thick delicious crust with a house made ranch on the side. The bartender and manager were both extremely friendly and the atmosphere was on point.

Booked the upstairs for my son’s 21st birthday! Alicia, the event planning manager was quick to respond and very helpful planning the event! Courtney the bartender and Max the manager on duty were very attentive and made sure my son’s 21st was a huge success! Highly recommend the upstairs for your private party!!!!

I came in on Friday August 29th to the club and it was very busy and the line was long. I was told the cover charge was $20. I asked the bouncer if I could pay some cash and some on my debit card. The bouncer said that was fine. I gave the bouncer $9 in cash and then I was supposed to be charged $11 on my credit card. I was then charged $25 on my credit card on top of the $9 I gave them in cash when I checked my bank account. I did not authorize this transaction for them to take that much out of my bank account. I am very frustrated about this and I will not be back here. I got scammed and charged more than I was supposed to in the first place. Be careful if you use your card here so it doesn’t happen to you. I can’t believe I was charged more on my card than I was supposed to so ridiculous.

Sat outside on a Friday night for a late dinner with my teen after being at a sporting event all day. Sat right away and given menus with waters. Drink order taken promptly. Waitress was kind and very prompt. Appetizers came out in a decent time and hot. We got their Philly cheesesteak (aka Woodshed Grinder), a little bummed they didn’t come with fries but they were good. Felt safe with security nearby. Bar-like vibes more than restaurant vibes for sure. Would go again!

I want to begin this post by expressing how deeply disappointed I am with my recent experience at Michigan State’s Fieldhouse Bar. As a recent alum returning for the weekend, I attended with friends on both Friday and Saturday night and, unfortunately, witnessed repeated instances of racial profiling and discriminatory treatment.

On Friday night, my group and I purchased the $20 skip-the-line pass in advance. As we reached the front, we were asked to present both an ID and a payment method. However, unlike the white students and parents ahead of us, my group—comprised of Black women, Black men, and Middle Eastern individuals—was also asked to show college IDs. It struck me as unusual, especially given that it was Parent’s Weekend and many non-students were in attendance. Still, I complied and presented my alumni ID. Later that evening, I began recording and observed a troubling pattern: white patrons were allowed entry without being asked for a college ID, while minority patrons were consistently required to present one.

The following night, after the football game, my friends and I again purchased the skip-the-line pass. Unfortunately, I had forgotten my alumni ID at home. While monitoring the line, I noticed that once again the staff was not asking white patrons for college IDs. However, when a group of Black men approached, they were immediately confronted by the manager, Mario, who yelled at them to “get out” if they were not students. When I reached the front of the line, I explained I had forgotten my ID, offered to provide additional payment, and pointed out the inconsistency of the checks. I was denied entry and treated with hostility by the manager, who dismissed my concerns and told me to leave.

I have been coming to this bar for years and never have I experienced such blatant racial profiling. It is unacceptable that minority patrons are subjected to stricter and more aggressive treatment than others. I am asking the Michigan State University and East Lansing community to hold Mario and the Fieldhouse Bar accountable for these discriminatory practices.

Waited in a long line to get in and they wanted to charge 20 dollars at the door just for entry at 7 pm on a Tuesday. There are so many more great business in the area that actually value your time and money unlike this place. Field house has ran like this for years now, they don’t care about you, they just care about your money.

Hands down the best bar in East Lansing/Lansing area. Been going here for a couple years and have not had a bad experience yet. Best bar for game days, holidays, or even a Tuesday night pizza and cocktail. I recommend the cauliflower bites!

Marios, the manager, is always super welcoming from the second you get to the door and will do anything in his power to make sure you have a good time and keep a smile on your face.

The bartenders are all so cute and make sure you are taken care of and always have a drink in your hand. The waitresses also make sure your kitchen needs are taken care of and the bar backs are super helpful if you have any questions or concerns.

This place is always clean and playing the best music. Good atmosphere all around and I would recommend this place to anybody looking for a fun time. Feels like home right in the heart of downtown East Lansing.
