I’m a big fan of chicken and waffles, and Field House does it right! Some say the chicken is bland, but add some syrup and/or hot sauce and it’s absolutely amazing. Waffles were delicious as well. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

I have been here several times now and the service is always great but sometimes the menu is hit-and-miss. Their chicken and waffles, what they are known for, are amazing! I’ve never had the combination before coming here and I fell in love with it. I usually just get The Chic, 3 pieces of chicken on a giant waffle, and it is always delicious.
Yet, I once tried their version of a BLT and it was extremely disappointing. The fried tomatoes were extremely tough and almost impossible to chew and the 3 slices of bread (because 2 isn’t enough I guess) made it very filling. But I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back again and had a fried chicken sandwich which was amazing.
Their unique menu may not be for children, since it is so out of the ordinary, but it is a great place for adults. The atmosphere is clean and relaxing and their unique drinks, such as a bloody mary with a pickle and bacon in it, are delicious. If you’re looking to try something new, definitely go here, just know sometimes you dish may be a dud but don’t give up on it!

The food used to be great. They used to have a great Happy Hour menu with “Harlems” which were huge chicken pieces with mini waffles on a stick (I bring them up in the hopes that management will see this and bring them back). The Winner Winner was always great. Now, the food tastes different than a few years back and I’d say the quality has gone down. The sweet potato fries are always a little off, the mac and cheese is flavorless, and the chicken is somehow greasy on the outside and dry inside.

I am utterly surprised at the positive reviews, and am thinking of trying it one last time to make sure I wasn’t mistaken. The macaroni and cheese is absolutely phenomenal….like cheesy crack in a bowl. But the chicken? Utterly flavorless. It is juicy, but how a kitchen can suck every bit of flavor out of fried chicken is completely beyond me (that nearly rhymed!). But, give it a try, folks. Maybe you’ll like it. My three experiences have all been the same, with utterly substandard chicken. But I’m always willing to be proven wrong.

First time here and we seated ourselves. Our waitress Michelle, was very lackluster. She got the job done but preferred talking and swearing loudly to her coworkers behind the bar. It seemed like it was all she could do to wait on us. The food was good. A little cold by the time you get to it. Our soup and salad came out with our meal. Will remember that for the future.
Big pro!!! They were playing some old country songs which were great to hear! Decor is awesome! Today it just happens to be run by adolescents. No management to be found.

Nothing I will ever eat could compare to this restaurant. I’ve had chicken and waffles from a fancy market store in Nashville. They were dirt compared to this meal. I had the pecan and caramel chicken and waffles here. I was blown away. I owe the chef and owner great thanks. I’ve been trying to lose weight for some time. Thanks to this establishment, I’ll never have to eat again because what would be the point? No food can compare. I’m sure to lose weight.

First time here, never even heard of the place before. I was very impressed with the food, it was very good. Everyone in our group was very satisfied with what they got. The bacon wrapped jalapenos were to die for. We had a good waitress also. Only negative was that it took a long time to get the food.

Service is terrible, drinks are terrible, food is mediocre at best and very inconsistent. Got three chicken strips, one was tough, one was burnt, one was good. Waffle was dry, and the gravy that came with my meal was cold. Our table wasn’t wiped down, and I had to ask for a towel to wipe the seat dry outside. One review on here said the wait staff stayed at the table when she brought the check. Oh man, how I wish that had happened. Our waitress brought us our check but I’m pretty sure she forgot that we were supposed to pay after that. She walked away and came back nearly 15 minutes later, only after 2 of us stared at her until she noticed us. Don’t waste the money, this place is over priced not worth the trouble.

Good food, mac and cheese is really good. Waffle was fresh, Fried chicken hot and fresh – as another reviewer mentioned, not so much in the way of flavor but still good. Service attentive and quick to provide.
Whenever we come back thru Flagstaff I am sure we will stop by again.

Food was very good. We started with the jalapeno poppers(JP) and fried green tomatoes (FGT). Both were good, but I like my JP cooked more, but I didn’t ask for them to be well done (they were good anyways). My wife liked the FGT. I got the southwest dipper (beef dip) sandwich. The sandwich was awesome. My wife got the chicken fried chicken dinner. She liked that too, but said the gravy needed to be hotter. Cortney the waitress was awesome.
