Met up with friends in Columbia and Googled restaurants. This is my kind of place. Steamed shrimp and a wedge salad and $4 drafts were perfect. Hamburgers look good, view of Lake and outdoor bar. The restaurant was noisy when full and hot air came in the door every time someone came in. Service was good. Stop by this place.

Our waitress was Lynsley she was totally awesome very knowledgeable about her job on point. I had the shrimp platter shrimp was awesome slaw not so much. My husband got the catfish platter with fries very good. The best thing was the hush puppies with honey butter. This was our first time but we will be back.

Good food. Great atmosphere. Food service is incredibly slow. Which is a shame. I would make it a regular visit but hard to schedule 3 hours for drinks and dinner. Perhaps is I was more local and more of a REGULAR, that facial recognition might speed things along. Not a lot of parking if coming by boat.

We went to this place on recommendation from a friend. This place is a place that you would miss if you were not looking for it. But this place is hidden gem off the beaten path. This place is a down home country place that serves great fried catfish and shrimp at a reasonable price. We were there on a Friday night at 6pm. The parking lot was full and the restaurant was busy, but we did not have a long wait. We were greeted us at the door and our server was awesome considering how busy it was. We will be back for some more of that catfish!

Got Chicken fingers and fries. They have a flavor as if been fried with other foods maybe like shrimp? Side salad would have fit in a 8oz coffee cup, very very small. Wife and I shared chicken plate not to impressed so decided to try a burger. Meat had some sort of seasoning to it other than salt and pepper. Quality hamburger meat needs no extra seasoning it can stand on its on. They are not very accommodating, wanted bake potatoe rather than fries cannot do that, wanted just hamburger no fries can’t do that, wanted just mustard and ketchup on hamburger but wanted it put on in kitchen like most places do so I would not have to touch the ketchup and mustard containers on table that have been touched by so many people, can’t do that. J Peter’s in Chapin much better food and much more accommodating to the customer.
