Beware. They charge a 3.98 fee for all card transactions. It’s at the bottom of the menu. Look, the food was good. Atmosphere is nice. Wine was delicious. Dessert was yummy. Staff was phenomenal. But a bit pricey unless you skip the $35 a glass wine, but why. You need wine. Or an alcoholic beverage.

We had a reservation at Fiction and arrived right on time. The host staff was friendly, and we were seated quickly, which set a great first impression.
Unfortunately, service slowed down quite a bit after that. It took about 30 minutes for our waitress to take our order, nearly an hour before our water glasses were refilled, and roughly another 30 minutes after ordering for the food to arrive. What made it more noticeable was that the restaurant did not appear very busy, and some tables seemed to be helped faster than others.
That said, once the food showed up, it absolutely delivered.
The wagyu burger was excellent. Perfectly grilled, fresh vegetables, and a bun that was toasted just right on the inside. The fries were crispy, hot, and clearly made with care. Everything came out at the ideal temperature.
The turkey sandwich was another standout. Generous with the meat and full of flavor. Paired with the tomato bisque, it made for a comforting and satisfying meal. The bisque itself was creamy, rich, and exactly what you want alongside a sandwich.
The ambiance is worth mentioning too. Slightly dim lighting, good background music, and a beautifully stocked bar create a relaxed, upscale atmosphere that feels great for a date night or an easy evening out.
Overall, Fiction delivered where it mattered most: the food and the setting. If the service moved a bit quicker, the experience would have easily felt top tier. Still, it was a good visit, and with stronger pacing, this place has all the ingredients to be exceptional.

Excellent flatiron steak (the au poivre sauce in particular was standout), a surprisingly delicious sangria, and a delectable cheesecake. I would also like to thank Marcie and Kiera for their wonderful service tonight, making the place feel super welcoming. I’m only in Tri-Cities for a work trip, but this is the kind of experience that would make me want to come back for leisure.

Would have given 5 stars but took 15 minutes to arrive. Was getting ready to leave when she showed up. With tat said I was glad we stayed. The food was excellent. The soup and sandwiches were better tan expected and my wife and I fb would only eat a half of each . We ate on the dining room which was very quiet. I had the ham and gruere cheese and my wife had the turkey sandwich which was excellent. The soup was also very delicious.

A group of us came this past Monday. Our reservation was at 5:30PM, so not very busy. While she was nice, we rarely saw our waitress. Dinner took over a hour and arrived cold. The shrimp appetizer was great, but everything else was chilly and mediocre. I paid $43 for Halibut and only ate two bites. Disappointed by the experience. I also asked if there was a gratuity charged. I was told no, but they added a 4% service fee. We won’t be back.

Wonderful stop-over for coffee, wine, sammies, snacks and quality bakery items. Warm, upscale atmosphere is very appealing. Nice spot, JB.

My favorite spot to take people from out of town to in Tri Cities. The apps are all out of the world. Bacon wrapped dates omg. The vibe here is always professional and fine dining, lots of wine. I would eat absolutely ANYTHING on the menu. They never miss. 100% a must try spot if you have never been.

The Brussels sprouts, however, stole the show, emerging as one of the finest side dishes I’ve had in recent memory—crispy, yet tender, with a balance of flavors that was simply exquisite. The honey bourbon chicken, while flavorful, felt a bit understated in comparison, offering a pleasant sweetness but lacking the bold impact I had hoped for. As for the avocado fries, they were a delightful surprise—crispy on the outside, with a creamy, indulgent center that paired wonderfully with their dipping sauce.
