It leans towards a fast food restaurant but the food is good. They serve a variety of Japanese dishes, even though I ended up ordering Korean bowl. The food was flavored and it was more than enough for me to eat. The service was pretty fast.

Picked this up on my way home from work and it was such a cute little place. The atmosphere was amazing, the placed smelled amazing from the moment we walked in. The service was quick and easy to order. Everything we ordered to try was delicious and having us already planning our next visit to dine in.

I was very surprised to see this restaurant while on a trip to Plano, as I’ve been to the location in College Station and ABSOLUTELY LOVE their food!!
Let me just say, if I hadn’t been to the location in College Station, my review would likely have been rated higher because I would not have had expectations going into it.
The food was decent but wasn’t as seasoned the first time. When they recooked my steak, it definitely had a better flavor and was better seasoned. The portions were smaller than I am accustomed to with this restaurant, as there was only a small layer of rice at the bottom and the children’s meal barely had any veggies.
One thing that I will say is that the staff was outstanding and attentive! Granted, we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time. But you can tell that they are genuinely nice people. Also had the chance to chat with the owner and she was also very kind.
The staff is why I rated the experience so highly and I know that my bias with having been to the other location impacted my expectations.
But still it was a really great restaurant and I would recommend. But I will recommend that if you’ve been to the location at A&M, just temper your expectations.

Had to write a review because we’ve been waiting for this place to open since we saw the sign go up. It totally lived up to our expectations! The food is fresh, and I love the unique idea of fast-casual hibachi. The place is extremely clean and they even have a transparent view of the entire kitchen where they cook our meal to order. Big win: my kids absolutely loved their meals and ate everything. We’ll definitely be coming back!

It was OK. The steak was good and there was a lot of it. The fried rice was just plain rice without egg or anything in it and very greasy. The vegetables were undercooked and 90% cabbage. Never had cabbage with Hibachi before, but whatever.
My biggest complaint was the music. They were playing all sad girl covers of dance and alternative songs.
They only serve Pepsi products.
Kind of pricey for what it was. 21 dollars for steak and a drink. And they ask for a tip despite there not being any actual service to speak of.

The food is always great here I recommended highly they’re very nice Customer Service friendly. It’s kind of spicy though so make sure you pick accordingly and a green tea is tasty too.

Came across an ad for this place on Instagram. Thought we would give it a try. It WILL be in regular rotation moving forward. Hawaiian bowl had great chunks of salmon and tuna. The chicken and shrimp hibachi was really good. My daughter really enjoyed the flying chicken that had a little spice & garlic. We tried appetizers… the crunch shrimp and mushroom popper. Crunch shrimp was sweet and tempura fried. The mushroom popper was stuffed with imitation crab and was as good as any Japanese appetizer I’ve ever had!
The dining room is very casual with small tables and metal chairs. The have upbeat, nearly club like music playing. It’s top 40 songs… not intrusive and adds to the environment.
Cost for three meals, two drinks and two appetizers was roughly $50. I thought that was a really good value these days.

F&F Japanese has quickly become a go-to spot for fresh, delicious sushi in our neighborhood. The food is consistently excellent, with vibrant flavors and high-quality ingredients. The service is friendly and attentive, making the dining experience enjoyable. While not quite a 5-star experience, F&F Japanese definitely deserve a solid 4-star rating for its quality food and welcoming atmosphere

I was driving in the area and my daughter was getting hangry! I looked over and saw F&F Japanese Grill. We both love Japanese Hibachi, so I knew this was the perfect spot to stop.
Upon walking in, the staff greeted us. They were very helpful in answering my menu questions. They have so many options to choose from. I’m vegetarian, so they also have a few options for me too. The prices are good for the large portion size.
The atmosphere is pretty cool, I love the mural on the wall and the music.
Overall, I highly recommend F&F Japanese Grill for a fantastic menu of delicious food, great atmosphere, and competitive prices.
I’ll definitely return when I’m back in the area.
