Loved this BBQ restaurant. I’m sad that they’ll be closing. The place has a cozy country vibe with picnic tables and a bar with stools made from tractor seats. The Brisket was very good and the Cornbread was amazing. They have a good Draft selection and their Smoked Old Fashioned was very good. The service is good. The prices are very reasonable. The music is Country Music. I enjoyed it.

Delicious and greatly achieved southern barbeque vibe restaurant. You order what you want by the pound, so you pay exactly for the amount of meat that you are eating. Everything was cooked to perfection. It was fall and we were still able to sit outside and have a great time. Totally recommended

Love love love this place! We had ribs, brisket, potato salad, brocoli, a cocktail and a whiskey flight. Everything was delicious, not too sweet (usually a major issue for us as non Americans), and served in a professional, friendly, and relaxed way. The premises are fun and unpretentious. Vibe is cool and casual, made us non locals feel welcome.

If you’re craving authentic BBQ with personality, FatSauce is a must.
Tucked in a fun, buzzy Brooklyn neighborhood, this spot brings serious summer vibes with a touch of German beer hall charm. From the moment you step in, it’s an experience — everyone behind the counter knows their role: one slicing brisket, another plating up generous sides, someone pouring that dangerously good honey peach punch at the bar.

The beef brisket is incredibly meaty, each cut with its own texture and story. The pork ribs? Juicy and fall-off-the-bone tender. Even the bread is worth a shout-out — warm, fluffy, and perfect for mopping up sauce. Sides like slaw, mac, and pickles are spot on.

What makes it extra fun is the open, outdoor seating area — casual, lively, and full of energy.
And best of all? Prices are honest, portions are real, and the vibe is just good.
If BBQ is your thing, don’t miss this one!

Had a quick dinner here a few weeks ago and it was okay. I have a somewhat high bar when it comes to BBQ, so I definitely am coming into a spot like this with implicit bias. But overall, everything was fine. Nothing to scream off a rooftop about, but also not something I felt was a waste of a meal. Good for a casual quick bites with friends, given that there is ample space and the service is easy.

amazing place. a little bit of a dive, but in a good way. adds character and atmosphere. EVERY single thing we had was good. better than some other BBQ places we’ve been to within driving distance. The only gripe we had, is outside of their control, seems to be that there’s a shelter around the block. some unsavory characters when walking there after parking, and another inside begging for someone to buy him a meal. Please, while being aware of this, don’t let this deter you from going there, you’ll be missing out on some pretty legit food. the dude at the counter was also extremely welcoming and informative.

edit. saw reviews saying the food is bland. I disagree wholeheartedly. if you’re used to heavy overseasoned food, than this comment makes sense. i thought everything was pretty well seasoned, and found the beans to be a little on the heavily seasoned side, but still delicious (albeit, heavy). only negative comment that has a little validity, the fatty cuts. out short ribs, while delicious, were on the fatty side. I wouldn’t let that stop of from going back. also, a little on the pricey side, but not out of reason considering the food and location.

If you’re craving quality meat, this is the place to be. They offer an excellent selection of cuts, all cooked to perfection, and the sides are equally impressive. The spicy BBQ sauce is a standout—absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. Plus, there’s a bar if you’re in the mood for a drink. I highly recommend this spot for a relaxed, laid-back experience with great food, perfect for enjoying a long, leisurely meal with friends.

Roll up the garage door and fire up the grill. Legit midwesterner bbq in Brooklyn. In the third bay of an auto body shop these kids can Q. Whiskey bar, tasty sides and communal indoor and outdoor seating. Holy hickory smokes, beef is alive and dead and consumed under this high wood beam roof.

As someone from Texas, this is so far the only good bbq place I’ve had in NY (granted, I have only tried 3 places). The brisket, sausage, and cornbread was all amazing. The pork belly was really photogenic but very dry. Both times I went it was easy to get seating but I have only been on the weekdays.

This gem in Brooklyn turned out as a surprise. Started with old fashion as my drink of choice. Bartender ain’t no joke, made them perfectly and consistently. The food was okay, and I had the brisket and pork ribs. I never use sauce because I want to taste the flavor of the meat. Brisket was too fatty, but the pork ribs were perfection.
