Ordered a chimichanga on Door dash. I had a tablespoon maybe 2 (and that’s being generous) inside. Flavor was ok, but it seems that they try to make up for the lack of meat with sides and filler. 3/10, would not recommend. Completely disappointed!

Our server, who is also the bartender, was really nice, but you could tell he was overwhelmed with the tasks he was responsible for. Took a few minutes too long to get our drinks, especially with there only being 3 customers in entire restaurant. The food was not good. It was edible though and might have been really good if I’d been very drunk but unfortunately I was Not. Would definitely need to be to go back here though. We were sweating it was so hot in the restaurant which itself was nice & clean.

Decided to try this restaurant because its closer than our usual mexican restaurant and I am appalled with this place. I went for dinner with my kids and I ordered a chimichanga fajita for myself (assuming its fajita style with onion and bell pepper like most other places). Well, it had only some meat that looked like ground beef and cheese in it. She just dropped the food off and walked away, never asked if we need anything else.

I waited a good 15 minutes for the waitress to come back to the table and they were not even busy. When she finally came, I questioned it and she took my plate to the back then came back and told me its just fajita meat. I said I didnt want it, so she took the food back and brought my bill with the food still on it. (If the service would have been better, I would have at least tried to eat it but at that point i was ready to go since my kids had already finished eating).

So I paid 15 dollars for food i didnt even eat. Oh and for 4 people we were given 2 tiny bowls of salsa to share. (Couldn’t ask for more because she never came around) Oh and they had no mayonnaise for a burger either and didnt tell us until after we got the food and asked where it was.

We are usually in town during this time of year. We first started coming to Festival Tacos when they were on the hill in a bigger facility. We came back & had gotten so sad that they closed down. We leave the base pretty often and it never occurred to us that it was right there in front of us! Right down the street! Perfect location, awesome food like duh of course! Drinks are always good, good prices for everything. Only complaint is to get off Hulu during football season. My partner and I had fun eating and drinking here. Fast service, clean bathroom and outdoor sitting. It gets busy that’s for sure, friendly faces. Bring your family here. They have birria, it’s just not on the menu so ask for it you won’t be disappointed!

This is a nice Mexican restaraunt not far from the Fort Johnson Main Gate and Visitors Center. Their is both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu is rather limited compared to many Mexican restaruants, but the typical standards are the (tacos, burrito, fajitas). A few seafood selections as well. Definitely recommend trying if in the area and wanting some good food.

My first visit here. I had lunch with my daughter and friends. You order at the counter which is a little uncomfortable bc I feel I need to hurry to order. After ordering they give you a number. The ladies that took the orders were friendly. As far as atmosphere, it’s a little dark. Seats, walls and counters all black and red. I ordered a Chilie Relleno. My daughter a friends had a taco saled. The food was good except they don’t give any salsa with taco saled. Also this Mexican restaurant doesn’t bring chips & salsa to table. Would try it again. Parking can be tricky bc it’s located near pizza place.

Phenomenal!!! Authentic food, the guy that brought our chips ana salsa was really sweet. Our server was amazing. He was real patient as we aren’t very familiar with Mexican cuisine but we knew we wanted more than tacos.
We’ll be back, many times I’m sure. I highly recommend this place!!!
**edit to add** prices are very affordable as well!

I order 2 enchilada dinners *30.00$* and had maybe a few good bites. Kinda disappointed in the portion size. It was like a small scoop of beans and rice and 2 tiny tortillas and some steak inside *order beef* but that was fine. Just dont think the price is right for the portion or lack of portion you get.
