**We are TAKE OUT ONLY **Since opening its doors in 1936, Ferri’s Pizza has become a household name in North East Pennsylvania. The family has had pizza shops in many towns throughout our area originating in Old Forge PA by founder, Gaetano Ferri, and Italian immigrant and coal miner. Now in its third generation of family, the Ferri family owns and operates Ferri’s Pizza in Moscow. Unlike any other pizza shop of its kind, theirs is a tribute to the area’s Anthracite coal mining history and even has its own replica coal mine and museum inside! Serving Old Forge style pizza, a variety of specialty pizzas, hoagie & more! **For more information or to see our current menu – head over to our facebook page.

Drive by often figured I’d give it a try, very difficult to deal with. Gotta check there facebook to see if they are at full menu, no credit cards expected, no large bills. No indoor dining. At this point why even open? Too many rules. I had to go to the local gas station for cash. And after all this I was hoping the food would be good, wrong. Mediocre at best, not really a good example of old forge style pizza.

Some of my favorite old forge style square pizza of all time. Especially the pepperoni. They don’t just add slices of pepperoni, they also chop up pepperoni as well, so you get pepperoni in every bite, without it being too much. The white with broccoli, or onions, or both is also incredible. The people that work there are always so nice, & helpful. You can’t forget about the potato pizza, that’s only available during lent. It’s to die for my mouth is watering just typing this. Gonna have to call them. I have found if a place only takes cash, it’s gonna be some of the best food you’ve ever had.

This used to be my favorite pizza from my childhood when it was located in Taylor. When I found that they were still opened but in a different location, I drove 2 hours to try it. And it was everything I remembered!!!! Delicious! Highly recommended❤️ I will be getting this pizza every chance I get.

An ‘experience’ just walking around the place. I started going to Ferri’s in the 70’s when they had a place on top of Taylor hill. Working 3-11 p on railroad, I would get 2 slices and a foot long hot dog. The pizza is crispy, sauce sweet .. and yes, American cheese w maybe a hint of .. romano .. not sure.

Its been many many years since I had Ferris Pizza. Im a die hard for anything buffalo wing. When I heard they had a buffalo wing pizza, I was intrigued. When I gave my card to the girl, it was my fault to not notice that its cash only. I can understand why.. Credit Card transaction commission can add up. The girl gave me back my change and said, “$3 is your change”. No.. “Enjoy, Have a good night”. When I got home, I didnt realize the overkill of celery on the pizza. It was incredibly messy and when I ate it, there was a lot of dried out blue cheese chunks. I threw away more than half of the tray. It was a waste of money which infuriated me the most. Sometimes change isnt good.

Decided to try this since it was close to home. Very disappointed in the pizza. The cheese didn’t taste right, it tasted like fake cheese. The sauce was good. No very old forge style in my opinion.

So I decided to take a ride over and try the hot wing pizza. I drove 30 minutes and arrive give the the lady my money she says we don’t take hundred dollar bills. So I drive to a gas station get change go back she’s like can I help? I am like yea I was just here for a pizza. So I said you don’t take card and you don’t take 100 dollar bills. She said yep. So I said are you owner, she said do I look like the owner. She was very rude and disrespectful. My first and last time going here. The pizza was terrible and the customer service was worse.
