The food & service we’re so good we came back two days in a row. Natasha & One Great Lady (Anne) did all but bend over backwards to make sure we had all we needed. (Though I’m sure they would have if we asked). I’ll definitely be coming back…

From the moment we stepped in the vibe and feel of the place was positive. The outdoor patio garden is well lit with glass room and beautiful flowers all around. Staff was friendly and joyful while the food was the main highlight. We tried the Singapore salmon and, creme bruile, brownie, laksa , burger and veggie bowl and everything was delicious. Sampled the foods at this restaurant based on its reputation. Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed.
My “fusion” salmon was tasty but a bit “heavy” on the soy sauce flavor, and the bouillabaisse was hearty but not very flavorful.
Waitress took our original order and that’s the last we saw of her.
We dined in the front area of the (narrow) restaurant and the lighting in the booth where we were seated was so dark I had to use the flashlight on my phone to see what was on my plate and what I was eating.
The layout of the restaurant was narrow and long. Believe the seating in the rear would have been better… so be forewarned.

One of my favorite downtown restaurants. I haven’t been in a while as I don’t frequent downtown very much anymore, but a recent visit for Dine Around has reminded me why I love it so much. Just spectacular food, with good portions, and reasonable prices. The indoor section of the restaurant is a bit cramped and some of the seating isn’t the most comfortable, but otherwise it’s one of my all times favourites, and always will be. Happy hour food/drink options are great and they have a lovely patio out back for the warmer months.

Hit and miss. The atmosphere is great, especially on the patio. Their Bouillabaisse is easily amongst the best soups I’ve had. It was absolutely full of delicious seafood and the tomato-based soup was packed with flavour. The deep fried oysters are incredibly delicious. I especially loved the fresh tartar sauce that came with it. The oysters themselves were crispy on the outside, while still succulent and juicy on the inside. The fresh oyster tasted like it was straight from the sea, but unfortunately it was very small. I do not recommend the seafood Laksa. It had no flavour and was inauthentic. Likewise, the Pacific Rim bowl was very bland as well. This is very disappointing given their price, and I recommend staying away from the two dishes. I expected better and think that this restaurant should just focus on their core competencies instead of pushing flashy items for the sake of standing out.

No sure if a patio, more like a courtyard vibe, because it was quaint and cozy ❣️ never been and we even got free parking.
We ordered the oyster burger with chowder, spicy poke taco, and 2 for 1 (full order, not just an extra peice of cod) fish and chips. Good price and was full, took second plate of fish and chips home.
My only complaint they was short in staffing, getting coffee refills was kind of a challenge with waitress forgetting even when asked or finally when did pot was empty. I really needed my coffee so it was disappointing.
However, taco flavorful, was fresh, the fish and chips wasn’t ridiculously thick with batter

The chicken tikka wrap was amazing! Perfect balance of flavour and spice and a generous amount of chicken. I had a side of seafood chowder which was delicious and my son also had the chicken tikka wrap but with fries and they were some of the best fries! Service was good, I definitely will be back!

This is a lovely little place to eat at! The mushroom paté is to die for! We also had the mussels and the gnocchi, which were both tasty and satisfying.
There is a cute little terrace in the back, it feels so cozy!
We even got some great tips from Will on where to visit while we are here.
