This Ice Cream is AMAZING!!!!! It is so rich and tasty and the scoop sizes are very generous. There are many different delicious flavors to choose from. All of them are excellent choices. The ice cream shop is right on the Ferris Arces farm on the side of the road and it is the perfect place to eat your ice cream. It is also fun to watch the cows while you eat too! They also sell farm fresh eggs here. I highly recommend!!! 🙂

We love the ice cream here! Tried the challenge with a friend yesterday. Unfortunately we couldn’t win the T-shirt lol. But we enjoyed every bite to the end. Love all the different flavors here. Definitely definitely coming back for more.

Delicious ice cream place if you need something cold to cool you off. The variety of flavors are amazing! The place gets busy but it’s worth the wait. They serve pretty fast! Definitely check them out if you are in the area! Try the berry sundaes! Yummmmmmmyyyy!!! The staff are very friendly!

As someone who loves and understands ice cream differences, I consider this a Top 3 ice cream place in CT. In the summer you’re likely to have a hard time finding parking right away although they have staff that will direct traffic. There will also be a line, which moves pretty fast. Depending on day and time, be ready to wait 5-30 mins to get your ice cream but IT’S WORTH IT!

Delicious ice cream made freshly from their farm. I had the Key Lime and it tasted like other world! And my parents had the vegan cookies and cream and both loved it as well. Definitely coming back here before the season closes!

We got the next sundae with cookie jar and campfire ice creams. The campfire was unfortunately overpowered by the berries, however the vanilla ice cream base of both flavors was tasty and creamy. The cookie jar was a good mix with the berries, adding in a little chocolate and a little crunch. The berries were fresh and mostly juicy (some had frozen in the sundae).

Came here on a Friday night to try. They were busy. There is a lot of parking but it fills up. They had employees directing parking and at times closing the lot. A large variety of ice cream and other items such as fresh eggs, berry sundaes, shakes, and treats for dogs. Since it is on the farm, all of the ingredients are fresh. There are tables and benches that you can sit and relax for a few.

The ice cream was delicious. I had Grasshopper and toasted almond. I preferred the grasshopper. Very creamy and fresh. This is not the half gallon of Breyers you get from the supermarket. The prices were much cheaper than I expected. Overall great experience. Since it is on a farm, it smelled like a farm. Be prepared.

This was my first time here. The ice cream was so delicious. My friend and I ordered the Parent Trap, toddler size in a waffle cone. I will definitely be going back there.

I love Ferris Acres!
They serve some of the (possibly THE) best ice cream in Connecticut, and it is all homemade! The milk comes from cows you can pet across the street, and although I’ve never seen them, I trust them when they say they own the chickens who make the eggs.
They have a variety of flavors, and you can make a milkshake out of any of them. They also have a long list of sundaes, and many different toppings. They also sell the ice cream in take-home quarts and pints, have special milkshakes and smoothies, and make custom cakes (the ice cream cake is amazing).
If you live nearby and haven’t been here yet, you should definitely go.
During the summer and spring, they get very busy and you cannot get into lot, and there are long lines, but it is honestly worth the wait. They also have good seating for families, couples, and small groups.
