Five stars for great food! If you looking for fancy or a bougie American atmosphere… you ain’t getting it here… honest truth! However, the food is so yummy compared to competition in the area. It’s like your grandmama is in the kitchen cooking with love for her babies… . Only negative is they didn’t have any ting, but I have some at home… its all good!

The NICEST people that I’ve ever had the pleasure of ordering from. Jerk chicken is fire and the oxtail is insane. Buddy told them he took me there as a little birthday gift and they decided to pack extra food for me. THEN when I told them I was giving the leftovers to my girlfriend, they gave me MORE food for free. Go support these beautiful people and you won’t regret it.

Got curry goat. Taste watery, Mac and cheese is definitely not good nor what they put on the menu. All I taste in the goat is water. Plantain as a side got 3.

The FOOD!!!!! AH- MAZE-ZING!!!! The curry goat was some of the best I have ever had outside of the island! The staff was courteous and welcoming which made me wonder when I called, lol! I am glad I went into this establishment! The atmosphere reminded me of the restaurants/bars in St. Ann and was very homey! You will not be disappointed! Check out the menu and enjoy your visit to the Fern Gully! They even practice Social Distancing for those worried!

Literally the worst Jamaican food I’ve ever had. The macaroni was horrible and reheated in the microwave- I saw it with my own eyes. The greens were UNSEASONED. The boiled dumplings were hard as rocks ! The meat is old. Bottom line- don’t waste your money. The food is old and reheated.

Tipped $15 on a over $95 order to support Jamaica. They still skimped on oxtail that was $35 per plate for a large. The lady will open the box to show you your order they pack a lot of rice underneath the oxtail and drown in gravy so it appears to be $35 worth large oxtail instead of $27 small. A man normally places the order for us and he even said they gave less food. Doesn’t matter what color you are they will give you less food. One of the younger men on a seperate occasion pandered to a y t woman and was curt when I attempted to pick up my order. They are not a true representation of ONE LOVE even when you tip to show love. DO NOT EXPECT A LARGE PLATE UNLESS YOU ARE Y T OR A MAN ORDERING IN PERSON AND OVER THE PHONE(unless they see this post and try to save face)

Stopped in this evening around 6:15pm to place a to go order. I wait by the front for someone to take my order. As I’m standing there, I see a young person walk out of the kitchen, walk right past me and start tending to something on the counter. No hello, no how may I help you, no nothing. I wait a few more minutes – still no acknowledgment. I finally asked the young lady if I could please place an order. She looked at me like I asked her the craziest thing on the planet, went to the back and told someone that I was at the front. I heard some pots and pans clanging, someone said a few words I couldn’t make out. A few more go by, still no one comes to take my order. Ironically, 2 young girls sitting on a couch by the front of the restaurant told me to have a nice day as I walked out the door The only acknowledgment I received since stopping in. You can’t make this stuff up. Very disappointing.

Yummy. Stewed chicken has a mild curry flavor that I loved. Plantains could be a little darker, I like them almost burned. Everything was so filling. Will be back for patties.

Delicious lunch!! My first time on JAMAICAN cuisine. I ordered “The Tour of Fern Gully,” selected the oxtails, curry goat and stew chicken. The entries came with 3 side item choices ( mixed veg. Mac n cheese and fried plantains). Ordered a side of white rice.
