Looking for a good hot dog in the area, my partner told me about this place when he worked in the area. Evidently it has changed. We both got hot dogs and hamburgers. I was excited to see footlong hot dogs on the menu. Beware they are not truly footlong it was two short dogs. They are also boiled. There is an extra charge for frying the hot dogs. The hot dog itself had an aftertaste that was not so good. The chili and slaw were good though. The hamburger was definitely the way to go. I ordered water and it was the price of a drink. The service was good and that would be my reason for going back.

Stopped here for lunch, got hotdogs and hamburgers Carolina style with French fries. The hamburgers was delicious but the hotdogs had a bad aftertaste. Service was decent.

It was a decent burger. But it wasn’t a Melvin’s nor a Cain’s, but a nice Carolina burger, and fries. The atmosphere is more like an old converted gas station. There are regulars there every day and the servers all know their name.

If you’re in or near St. Pauls, this is the place for hamburgers and hot dogs. Don’t stop at the fast food sites, come here for great food and a super friendly staff. Get there early to get some homemade cookies, which we missed but heard about from regulars. We’ll be back again, just early.

The food is good but forget calling in a order they will take the phone off the hook. You have to go there and order. There is limited seating. So you would think they would make sure a call in order could be taken, to limit the amount of people standing around.
