Fenton River Grill takes pride in our beverage program, and many beverages were consumed to make sure that what we offer will satisfy our thirsty customers. Our bar features 20 draft lines, with many Craft Brews from New England along with a few Iconic Beers. Our cocktail menu features a number of drinks made with infusions, fresh juices and specialty spirits. Our wine list offers an array of wines for most palates along with a few local wines.

I went on a slow Wednesday evening, alone. Service was great and friendly. Ordered a steak, it was perfectly cooked, not over salted, and way larger than the advertised 12 oz. I got the creme brulee for desert. It was one of the best I’ve had in years and we get them quite often. It was smooth, silky, not overcooked. Overall, 10/10 for this little place. Very surprised. They have a great menu with GF and vegetarian options as well. Support you local restaurants.

Ordered the chicken parmigiana with angel hair and extra marinara sauce ($28) the portions of chicken (a thick breast fillet) and pasta (pre-mixed with sauce with more on top) were very generous. (I could not finish the pasta.) All very tasty. The waitstaff were very friendly and helpful. It was very busy on a Saturday night and quite loud. A full bar is separate from the restaurant.

Yes, really. I couldn’t find a thing wrong. First, the staff is friendly and helpful, and that’s an understatement. My server, Emma, went above and beyond, in my opinion. She not only gave me recommendations when I asked, but explained why. She made sure to check on us regularly, making me feel cared about not pestered. I watched other servers doing the same with their customers.
I had the salmon; my brother had the fish & chips. Both dishes were prepared carefully and plated appetizingly. Everything was spotlessly clean. Even the water tasted fresh! Okay, you’re insisting I complain about something; fine: parking isn’t that great. But this is Christmas week and everything is super busy. This is not their fault, and does not cost them stars.
I will definitely be back soon.

This place, named after the local stream of my youthful watering holes, is still glorious. The beer selection, which you can monitor on Digital Pour the app, has some tasty selections. My wife enjoyed one of my personal favorites, Back East’s Ice Cream Man. I savoured the foggy/hazy Abomination Ale’s Wandering Into the Fog.
Our server was very courteous and checked in; we nodded our approval of all the meals. My wife had the Salmon Burger, which she pronounced “very good.” Son, the magician, made his Fenton Burger and Fries disappear (up his sleeve?) and my Pastrami Reuben was delicious. A lovely meal, made extra special by a son turning 32! Time flies, but time here was well spent!

Awesome food and service. The food is excellent. The service is, too. They are truly concerned about food quality and the servers continually inquire as to the customer satisfaction with the food. We were full, and still didn’t want to stop eating! I would highly recommend a meal here if one is in the Willimantic Connecticut area.

We recently went to the Fenton River grill and found it to be delightful. We ordered the chicken thigh app with half Buffalo half Italian garlic and they were very good. We ordered Tuscan chicken, chicken tortellini and a hamburger. All were very good. The wait staff was beyond excellent. Perfect timing on drinks apps and meal. We sat outside and enjoyed it very much. Recommend Fenton River Grill!

This place is veryyyy inconsistent, I’ve been here about 3 times now and there was only one time that the food was really good, that’s the reason i came back for a 3rd time. My partner got the blackened chicken with fries and I got chicken parm and they were both pretty bad, the chicken fro the parm was lukewarm but the pasta was hot, the pasta was just tomato sauce with pasta no seasoning, the blackened chicken sandwich just didn’t taste good. We also got an app of the crispy Brussels sprouts and the sauce was extremelyyyy salty like we couldn’t barely finish them. Some of the dishes were dirty and the table had a weird musty smell.

Food took too long our waiter just left i order a margarita took 20 mins to get. 3 tables around us had no food. This was at 4pm on a Thursday. We walked out with nothing still hungry. Will never be back horrible experience. Where was management where was our food and no I didnt pay for my drink or appetizer bc we literally sat there for an hr with a crying baby. Worst experience we ever had.
