If you’re looking for a premium luxury dining experience in Southampton you must visit Feniks in the former Le Chef location. The transformation of the space into a two story upscale restaurant is amazing with an intimate second floor lounge and bar where you can have a drink or entertain a group of friends. The lounge overlooks the romantic 1st floor dining room that has an open view of the kitchen. That’s where Chef Doug can be seen doing his magic and popping out of meet and greet his guests. The menu is diverse and spectacular and the service is absolutely the finest in the Hamptons. Feniks is truly a special place. We made a reservation and didn’t have to wait to be seated.

This is a very special restaurant. It’s unlike any other restaurant in the town. You feel like you’ve been invited to a private culinary event, it doesn’t feel like any other restaurant in the village. The service and food are excellent. The lounge upstairs is inviting and comfortable, it’s more like having drinks at a friend’s home, than cocktails at the bar before dinner. Chef Douglas, the owner and previously of the Plaza Cafe has created a truly unique place to dine and enjoy an evening with friends.

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at FĒNIKS on Valentine’s Day. It was our second time there and we will definitely be back. The restaurant is beautiful, the food was awesome and the service was great. The swordfish my wife had for the second time was truly a unique cut and the largest piece we’ve ever seen. My duck was cooked perfectly. Even the desserts were unique. The thing that impressed us most was that the chef/owner emailed us in advance of the reservation about ways he could accommodate my wife’s dairy allergy which I had noted on the reservation. Nobody had ever done that before and we truly appreciated it.

Feniks is becoming our favorite restaurant in Southampton. My husband and I went when the restaurant first opened. Everything about it was amazing! The decor and the food was exceptional, and the service was equally as good. We have been back several times since. Every time our experience there has been wonderful. Looking forward to many more delicious dinners at Feniks.

Celebrating a special event with my family for dinner. I decided to make a reservation at the Feniks restaurant. As I heard great reviews.
From the moment you walk up to the door to Feniks you are greeted with a traditional classy European style, which warmed my heart immediately! Taken to our seats and offered water and a drinks menu.
Then the food!!!! Absolutely amazing. I started with a salad along with a glass of fine wine. My entrée was scallop dish which were a triumph, featuring a perfect golden crust that gave way to an incredibly tender, buttery-sweet interior. My family enjoyed their meals. Then dessert that follow were equally as amazing.
Expect one of the best dinners you will ever had. Why go to New York City when it is right at your doorstep here.

What a wonderful place to eat! The ambiance was absolutely perfect, and the staff was both friendly and incredibly attentive. We had the pleasure of experiencing the Chef’s Table, and every one of the eight courses was simply delectable.

We also chose the wine pairing option, which elevated the entire experience even further. Each pairing complemented the dishes beautifully and added an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal.

Chef Doug was not only fun and engaging but also clearly passionate about his craft. He prepared what was, without a doubt, the best meal I have ever had. A truly unforgettable dining experience!

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a wonderful meal. It’s the most beautiful restaurant in the whole Long Island.

I am not sure I have enough command of the English language to give this restaurant the proper review. 5 is not enough stars. We started in Skip’s lounge. We were escorted up the stairs and sat on the sectional couch where the bartender quickly provided menus and took our drink orders. The wine list is extensive, the room is stylishly decorated and we opted for cocktails to begin. They certainly did not disappoint. I had the porn star martini, which had a cute little garnish and a funky glass. We were informed that our seats were ready and a staff member offered to carry our drinks down for us – a very nice touch. Our party of four had reserved seats at the chefs table – we had a fantastic view of the most amazing stove I have ever seen, and great conversations with most of the chefs! Doug is a master storyteller as well as a super talented chef and he explained each dish he served. As someone that is not a fan of oysters, I have been changed! All 8 courses were works of art on their plates, the wine pairing was incredible. My personal favorite was the first course which included that oyster in an edible shell, as well as caviar and a “pillow” containing a delicious lobster cream. Doug entertained us with little stories, and he also went out into the dining room so no diner there felt left out. This was a dining experience that was a once in a lifetime event for our party! Each one of us enjoyed the food, the ambiance and most of all the chef. I hope to eat there again soon, be it upstairs in the Lounge or down at one of the tables. After all, there are oysters to be eaten!
