Ordered food online and when I arrived to pick it up the people working there let me know that none of my order was ready and the items we ordered were not available. Did not provide any correspondence via phone or anything to let me know that the order was never being made so I ultimately did nothing but waste my time and gas money.

Visited Feng Lin on a Friday afternoon when it was not busy after the lunch hour. I called my order in from my truck and waited in the parking lot for about 10 minutes until I was sure my order was ready. My order was ready to pick up in under 10 minutes and the staff were very nice. The price was very low. However, This review is only for the items I ordered which were the Hot and sour soup, the lemon chicken, and the fried dumplings as these are the foods I love when prepared correctly. So let’s begin with the hot and sour soup. I have had a craving for this for the last two weeks and I really wanted to find the perfect authentic soup blend of tofu, thin sliced pork, bamboo shoots, wood ear mushrooms, and of course the ultimate slightly “sour” broth. Let me start by saying if you ever considered getting an order of this and serving it to any small children you will definitely want to reconsider. The amount of red pepper flakes that was added to this was way overboard. As a matter of fact I’m not even sure why these were added to what should have been an authentic Chinese hot and sour soup blend. There are no red pepper flakes in hot and sour soup. Instead Szechuan pepper is used as the hot spice ingredient to taste. There was sliced tofu added to the soup, but there were no other ingredients besides an overdose of egg that was drizzled in and of course solidified. The broth itself was good. But I didn’t have enough ice water to keep swishing in my mouth to stop the burn. Next menu item: lemon chicken. The chicken was over battered but fried correctly if you like a large coating of batter fried chicken. The lemon sauce was served on the side instead of being drizzled and folded into the chicken pieces. The chicken that was filled with in the batter coating seems to be a good quality. That’s all I have to say about that. Now for the dumplings. Do not get them. The fried dumplings left so much to be desired I can’t begin to describe. They were dry and tasteless, except for the dipping sauce.

Staff is a bit rude, and it’s a bit over priced for what you get. Ordered 4 egg rolls confirmed with the girl that’s what I got, came home nope 2 egg rolls and i payed for 4. Asked for spicy mustard for all the boxes we ordered she gave me three packets… no soy sauce, no fortune cookies all in all dissatisfied will not be going back. Only gave 2 stars for quality of food and nothing else. Would avoid this place.

Love this place. Food taste fresh and delicious. They actually give you a full sized plate. I go here when I need some fast Chinese food. Food can be a bit greasy like most Chinese restaurants but it is still worth it.
