Dinner for two was $256. The ambiance was nice, but the service did not match the price. Our server was a young woman, probably in her 20s, with hand tattoos. She never introduced herself or said her name. She also did not help us with the menus or explain anything. Every time she came to the table, she only asked what we wanted, and that was it. I had to try multiple times to get her attention, and she still didn’t respond. Our appetizer took about 30 minutes to arrive even though the restaurant was not busy and there were plenty of empty tables.

The food was okay, but not worth the hype. We did not realize it was Asian fusion with a fusion menu, so we stuck to the American dishes. The portions were small and the dishes were not very creative. I had the Chilean sea bass and it was fine, nothing out of the ordinary. The wagyu meatballs were also nothing special and tasted like regular meatballs. For wagyu, I expected something softer and richer, but it didn’t stand out.

For an upscale restaurant, you expect more guidance, better timing, and better service. People save up to come here for special occasions, and if they’re paying this much, the experience should match the bill. Overall, nice atmosphere, but the service and food did not justify the price.

This place was absolutely delicious. My fiancée and I were celebrating a recent job change and we throughly enjoyed this restaurant. The staff was extremely attentive and knowledgeable, the restaurant itself had a really nice, romantic lounge vibe, and the prices were not insane for what was on the menu. From sushi to steak to a dessert crepe, this place had everything and all the food was amazing. We went on a Friday night and we able to get seated right away. While the restaurant did have a lot of patrons that night, we felt well taken care of and very cozy in our booth. The menu had several options and customizations as well. The drinks were great too and they featured fresh mojitos and house-made syrups. We loved it. We will 100% come back here!

Our server was very attentive. She was friendly and genuinely cared about our dining experience. Appetizers and entrees were delicious along with a beautiful presentation. We were celebrating a birthday but it also seemed many people were meeting for drinks before a UCONN game. Great fun spot !

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Experience from Start to Finish

From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and made to feel completely welcome. The decor was beautiful — elegant yet comfortable, with great attention to detail that really set the tone for the evening.

The food was absolutely outstanding — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell the chef takes real pride in their craft.

Our waiter was amazing — attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely friendly. They made the whole experience feel personal and special.

Overall, this place deserves every bit of praise it gets. If you’re looking for top-notch service, a stunning atmosphere, and food that’ll have you planning your next visit before you even leave, this is the spot

I chose this restaurant partly because it is around the corner from the Civic Center, where we were going to see Pentatonix. Apparently it is a popular place for theater goers. This place appealed to me because of the combination of sushi and steak. On the menu was actually an 80 ounce steak!
This is a beautiful designed restaurant. Very posh. It must be one of the nicer looking places in the area. It would be a great date night restaurant and also for a special occasions. There is plenty of parking in lots around the area.

We were seated immediately in a very nice section of the restaurant. Replacement was full by the time we left. I made a reservation for 4:30 PM, which is what I thought it opened, but when we arrived there, they’re already diners leaving. They show do not start until 7 PM so I thought we would have to kill a little bit of time but as it turned out, it was a very relaxed dinner and we finished about 6:20 PM.

It is a very good menu with a very good selection of sushi and steaks and chops. They also have an extensive wine list although it was a little on the pricey side for us. I got the sushi and sashimi trio. My daughter got some sushi rolls and my wife got a salmon entrée. Their salmon came without sides, but that was fine since my wife is not a big eater. I got a hot sake and my wife got a vodka martini.

I would say this is a good place for adults and maybe older teenagers but not kids. This is a definite plus for future occasions.

Every dish we tried was outstanding, both in flavor and presentation. The sushi was a visual delight and tasted incredibly fresh. For starters, the Crispy Rice Bites came highly recommended—and they did not disappoint, packed with flavor and perfectly crispy. Taking our server’s advice, we also went with the Chicken Katsu and Short Rib entrees, and both were cooked to perfection. From appetizers to mains, the food was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully plated, and absolutely delicious—making for a truly memorable dining experience.

This is a cool place to catch a little some of that fine dining. I’m sure they change their menu from time to time so they may no longer have some of the food I might mention, but I hope that they still do. The bone marrow was great, calamari, I also got to sample some food straight from the chef and my favorite part was the dessert of course. The chocolate crepe cake. Cake plus crepes is just the best and if you like chocolate, it’s a must. the only slightly off thing was the presentation of the calamari, kind of felt like a doggy bowl, but, ruff. I was able to find some street parking, which took me a minute, but I’m hoping there is a parking garage considering it’s in a busy area. But don’t let that deter you. I came on a weekday, so it wasn’t super busy, and the staff was alert and ready with good service. The inside is clean, a little dim if you like that sort of vibe with Southeast Asian inspired décor. Stop by if you haven’t already. I surely will if I’m in the area again and my bank account is looking right.

The food was delicious I will say that. But our server Cassey took over 20 minutes to greet us- and we get started ordering our appetizers. Soon after we receive them, she follows up with if you want more food the kitchen closes in 2 minutes. We were also attempting to order more drinks from her but she was behind the bar taking shots with guests. Other than that everything was great the food and vibes were awesome.

I’ll start positive: Great location and ambiance, the back seating area is better than the front in my opinion.

Now onto the real: our server was really slow and we felt like it was slower than the usual fine dining pace. I ordered the sashimi omakase and the jalapeño mule, my husband got some nigiri and the chophouse roll and a cocktail as well. Our drinks were ok, the roll was good too and the nigiri was tasty. My sashimi omakase had a few good pieces but probably like 6-8 of them were just super fishy and made me feel ill afterward. I asked the serve what comes in the omakase and she could not tell me. I mean, I’m paying like $8-10 per piece, you can’t at least tell me what it is and have it be fresh??? Even after it was brought to me she couldn’t tell me what was in it. Overall, I would go back for drinks but I’m not sure if I would ever order food from there again.
