We went to lunch there on Monday in February. Gabby greeted us right when we walked in, she was so nice and friendly! She told us about the specials and was on point! And our server Marian was amazing! She’s been our server the last few times and she’s very thoughtful and makes for a great experience. Every time we come to Fenders, the staff is always cheerful! The food is delicious! The portions are huge! The drinks are pretty epic too. Very clean and cute restaurant. My husband got chicken fried steak, my friend got breakfast burrito and I got French dip with a salad. Again the portions are always a bang for you buck! I love this place and will be back again soon! Thank you for a great time!

Not super busy and the servers were very accomendatating for us. We had multiple people joining our table at later times. They were patient and gave us great service. There were a lot of tasty options on the menu. My friend really enjoyed their crab cakes Benedict. I tried the Monte Carlo and really enjoyed the jam they served with it. Their loaded Bloody Mary’s were great. We also tried their pepper soup, which was tasty. Their potatoes could have used more flavoring but otherwise would return. Be aware that they add gratuity on for bigger parties.

2nd trip to Fairbanks I was brought to Fenders. It had good vibes and good food. I had the chicken fried steak, and it was flat and big. It was good, and the gravy had good flavor, but I would definitely order something different next time around. Just to switch it up. The atmosphere was good. I felt like it was 80s themed. Fenders was a good spot to eat, and I will visit again one day. I also recommend that you try it if you are in the area. Also, they had a good bar and I had a shot of tequila!! Also, this is one of those local joints. Stay blessed.

We visited on 10/20 during lunch and were served a steak with parchment paper cooked onto it. When the meal was replaced there was a curly hair on the fries. When we brought this up the owner accused us of putting the hair there ourselves. It was a disappointing and uncomfortable experience.

Man! Good atmosphere, good servers, and good food. The food did not taste like old oil; the fries were golden.

The owner Gabby is absolutely amazing! Not only is she just a ball of positive energy but so sweet and friendly. She made sure that the food was absolutely perfect and her customer service is off the charts. Heather was an amazing server as well. Also the chef came out and personally asked how we would like our barbecue. And by the way it was the best barbecue I have had in Fairbanks all year! Juicy and not dried out under a heat lamp! thank you guys for a great lunch and I can’t wait to come back when you start doing paint night.
Everything on the menu is absolutely amazing. The queso dip for an appetizer was so perfectly spiced. You even enjoy the play on words with the music and the racing. Absolutely brilliant guys! The macaroni cheese I am still craving. And of course the dessert was fabulous.

Eight , older, Fairbanks sourdough ladies 70’s to 92. came into Fender’s for a birthday dinner. 9-18-25. Many of us had a nice glass of wine with our terrific salads. We were delighted with our server Dave J. We were all impressed with the variety of salads & they were all good. Our service was perfect. It was busy being a Thursday football night. We were seated in a huge booth which insulated us from noise. All in all a terrific experience.
