So incredibly delicious, super quick and kind service, and I seriously cannot thank y’all enough for such a wonderful meal! We came to Optimist Hall when a concert was delayed and we found this absolute GEM that EVERYONE should visit. FANTASTIC food all around; empanadas, beans & rice, even the fries are top tier. I’ve been here twice. They offer a variety of empanadas, including dessert options. They are all pretty flavorful. I don’t especially like food halls but they are great for groups. Service was average. Seating can be iffy, depends on how busy the food hall is. During weekends and nice weather (essentially Spring-Fall) seating can be difficult for small or large groups. Parking is free for the first 90 minutes, then it’s pay. They clock you entering and exiting, so there’s no way around it. Nutella & Banana was delicious! And my favorite empanada so far is the Carnitas Taco. The street beef is tasty and classic.

Takes a long time to get your food since they throw it in the oven to order, so if there’s a line expect to wait a while. They need a better system like if they texted you when your food was done that would be much better. The food is incredible. I have yet to have a bad empanada and I’ve tried a bunch.

Empanadas are always incredibly delicious. I always get an array of flavors but the lobster corn & chive and Jamaican beef are always my favorites. I would give this place more than 5 stars but the customer service is ALWAYS LACKING, especially the tall blonde girl working the counter recently. No welcome, no smile, looking at you like a pest for making her do her job.

Always go with beef – the chicken empanadas lack a little flavor. If you use the chimichurri it will help, but it should not be like that.
Also keep in mind that the carne empanadas have raisins (Tucumánas, but not in the large sense)

Went to optmist hall for family day and ordered from Felix’s Empanadas. I chose the 2 empanada combo with truffle fries and a drink. The Jamaican Patty was okay. I feel like it was missing something and I didn’t care too much for the texture of the beef. The Cheeseburger Empanada was very good as well as the truffle fries. They offer free drink refills and the young man who placed my order was very friendly. Will definitely return to try other empanadas.

Absolutely amazing. My wife and I had our first date at optimist hall 2 years ago, had the empanadas and had the best date ever. 2 years later, the service is just as amazing if not better and the food is incredible. Felix, the owner, is awesome and very generous. We will definitely be coming back. Yall have to order the fries with whatever you order. We got a shepherd’s pie empanada which was different, but so good. We also got the cheese empanada which is a classic go to, never disappoints. The steak empanadas hit the spot. We also got a chicken empanada which was delicious. The sauces are incredible and packed with flavor, as is everything on the menu. Absolutely 10/10.
