Very friendly, family owned restaurant. Food was great. Lots of regulars, people love the place. It was my first time. I loved the smoking area, felt like old days.

We went for our anniversary dinner, after looking at the good reviews posted we came here. We look for local restaurants to dine at. The service was excellent with no issues, no wait and very attentive. Our dinner was steak and salmon. Maybe it was an off night. But the steak was lacking in flavor and not to be tender. The baked potato was giant in size but just that a potato. Salmon was ordered Greek style but I’m not sure why that meant as there was no Greek flavorings or topping, it was cooked well done so missed on flake. It could have been nice to have a butter cream sauce on top. Rice pilaf could have used some seasoning to give it pizzazz as it was on the bland side. Salad bar was different, I would have preferred a plated salad but no issues there. It would have been nice to have a dinner roll with the meal. Now I appreciate the small business and it was busy so I would assume this is a one off in flavor. I only write this as maybe our expectations were too high and in no way is any to defer anyone from trying them out, just placing expectations appropriately so they can be exceeded and not missed.

I was googling on maps the nearest steak place to my hotel (Hampton Inn, Biltmore) and came across this place. Although there were closer places, I was sold by trying their “Prime Rib” and their price was more reasonable.

When arriving to the restaurant, at first glance of its exterior at night time, it looked slightly uninviting, however, when entering the restaurant, it was quite a homely place. It was noticeable that there were regular customers and people were familiar with each other.

A lady welcomed us and seated us. Herself and her staff provided a very good service and was very attentive. The bar was very colourful and vibey, with people sitting by the bar and having a good laugh.

The salad bar offered fresh produce and I was very impressed with the Prime Rib. It was very tender and went very well with the Au Jus and Horseradish.

I highly recommend this place and would return.

This has been on the list for a while and today was the perfect day for us to spread our wings and sample the culinary offerings of this 60 year old stalwart of the valley. I love the way the place looks inside. The food was great. My wife was particularly happy about the burger. We were so impressed with the service. The young lady who served us just made us feel so welcomed and appreciated. I wish I had this place closer to my house. Looks like a cute spot to do some day drinking.

Quaint, family owned place with AMAZING food!
My husband had the lamb chops and they were cooked perfectly and had the best seasoning. His twice baked potato was also delicious. (He said this was the best lamb he has had in his life!)
I had the prime rib, and while I typically like a more seasoned crust, the cook was perfect and it cut like butter.
Service was so friendly and attentive without being rushed or overbearing.
We drove 40 minutes to try this place and we are already making plans to come back on our next trip to AZ.

This is hands down an amazing restaurant!! A Phoenix local recommended it many years ago and now it is the one place I MUST visit every time I am in Phoenix- I highly recommend them! Maria is a warm and welcoming hostess, the food is consistently excellent, and the ambience is perfect for everything from a date night to a team celebration! Prices are incredibly reasonable- and the experience is PRICELESS!!

Feeney’s is such a vibe. It’s a Phoenix staple. The food is simple and delicious, the crowd is laid-back and friendly, and Maria is just the sweetest woman ever. Getchu a steak, a baked potato, some salad bar and a stiff cocktail. You will leave full and totally satisfied for a lot less than a fancy place with all the frills. Who needs it? This place is just so good and very consistent.

Seated quickly, the owner is the waitress and did good. Baby back pork ribs were thin and dry. Loaded baked potato was dry and barely warm and the butter couldn’t melt. My friend said is a good place in days gone by. Too bad really.

Legendary prime rib. I love the ambiance. A lot of semi-open rooms with relatively dim lights. Owner has been there every time I’ve gone and she obviously wants to make sure her customers enjoy their dinner. Attentive staff. Lots of people having fun at the bar

I have been jonesing to try beef wellington for years! This lead me to trying Feeney’s yesterday and let me tell you they did not disappoint. The price was very fair for the quality of food. My husband got the lobster tail and filet. Both dishes were cooked beautifully and packed full of flavor. I ordered the twice baked potato which was delightful and HUGE! The food and service were so lovely we walked about it all last night and today. We will definitely be back. My only complaint is that I am a bigger girl and the chairs inside were digging into my sides but outside of that amazing experience all around!
