This is a great, simple, warm and friendly place to get breakfast. Service was great, food was great. I might suggest two things: Clean the windows looking outside at the creek, and perhaps update the decor, tables and chairs. I love places like this and the Feed Mill is no exception.

Served food prepared with care. Delicious classic breakfast. Best bacon I’ve had in a long time. My friend had an incredible Rueben. Yummy cinnamon roll. Seated at a table with a view. Definitely plan to return

Stopped on the way to SW Minnesota. Took a chance on this one and found a winner.

Eggs Bennie for my wife. Cajun Breakfast for me. Both meals were super good. Hollandaise sauce on both meals was super flavorful.

And the servers were so, so friendly.

If we make our way back to Jordan, we’ll definitely stop back in.

The Feed Mill Café: Where the potatoes are golden and the views flow like the syrup (but better).

We stopped at The Feed Mill on a sunny day, drawn in by the promise of cozy diner vibes and the steady whisper of a nearby stream. My boyfriend, who’s actually been in a few real feed mills, took one look around and said, “This isn’t really giving ‘feed mill’ energy,” but that didn’t stop him from diving fork-first into a plate of corned beef hash.

Me? I was running on low appetite thanks to stress (a girl’s gotta conserve mana), so I kept it simple with a plate of hashbrowns. And let me tell you—those crispy, golden potato locks were spun by breakfast angels. Lightly crunchy edges, soft centers… it was a tater treasure pile. I had zero regrets.

I did try a bite of his corned beef hash—and quickly untried it in spirit. Not my jam. It tasted like it had brown sugar in it, which to me, is a flavor plot twist I do not support in corned beef. I want savory, briny, maybe peppery—not sweet ham cosplay. Also, it was shaved, not chunky, which made it feel more deli sandwich than slow-cooked masterpiece. Not bad, just… not my thing.

My boyfriend, ever the neutral food diplomat, shrugged and said, “It’s fine. It’s food.” He finished the whole thing with no complaints but didn’t swoon. His sunny-side-up eggs were the real MVP in his eyes.

The real magic? The view. We were seated right next to a large window looking out over a gently flowing stream. Birds flitted past, the water shimmered, and for a moment, the world was quiet and warm. After breakfast, we took a quick walk to the nearby waterfall—a sweet little cap to a wholesome morning.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, and judging by the steady flow of customers, this place is a beloved local favorite.

Would I come back? Absolutely. The vibe is lovely, the hashbrowns are worth a detour, and who knows—maybe next time I’ll roll the breakfast dice again and find something that hits just right for me!

This is my favorite breakfast restaurant. Their biscuits & gravy and the pankaces are to die for. The staff here are probably my favorite wait staff of all time. Your always greeted with warm personalities and you always leave happy and full ready to take on your day. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for breakfast or lunch in Jordan MN.

Stopped in here very early on a Sunday morning – seated by the window which has a nice view of the creek.

Our orders were taken and the food came out quickly and was hot and fresh. Typical breakfast food and tasted good. Would recommend if you are in the area.

I knew we made a good choice when we first walked in. The staff was super friendly! Went here for breakfast. It was delish!!!! I had an omelet. The eggs were super fluffy! Nice amount of filling. Hash browns were crispy without being overdone. The Belgium waffle came with a good number of blueberries. Food came out quick. Good prices. Clean restrooms. Treated kind of like a member of the family.
