Amazing value for money! Steak was 10/10. Could not fault any of the food. Everything was so flavourful! And the cocktails were so good! The staff were so friendly and gave such a warm welcome when I entered the restaurant! Highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to go back!

First of all, it was one of those steakhouses .

I stumbled upon while googling, and rarely convinced by the photos and reviews.
We were warmly welcomed when we arrived, and after my first visit, it became the only restaurant in the world I went to for three consecutive days.

How can everything be this good at a steakhouse?
I tried the Featherblade steak, Striploin, and Ribeye, all cooked by chefs who know their cooking techniques well. Medium well was my preferred doneness the first day, but I opted for medium the next day and the following days. It was fantastic. The truffle oil and garlic in the mac & cheese really took the flavor to the next level. The garlic broccoli was also delicious. Hope’s Hand Some Jack, a local craft beer, was also very good. I especially liked the place for lunch. Make a reservation. This is a great steakhouse I highly recommend while in Dublin.

Nestled between juice jar and Butlers hot chocolate, featherblade has been a restaurant I have always wanted to try (and see if it really is so small).

€38 for big far slivery focaccia, steak WITH truffle Mac and cheese and a sticky toffee pudding is not too bad. Although expensive, for the quality of the food, it was good.

Whilst I was pretty full from the meal, the sticky toffee pudding brought me right back to Sunday lunch times in a pub, right after a big long walk. Any sticky toffee pudding that brings back that feeling, is a 9.5/10 (would be a 10 if not for my absolute fullness) in my books.

I do want to go back and try their lunch special!!

Delicious steak and dessert and friendly staff service. Lovely evening. Make sure you have to book a table reservation due to small restaurant as a lot of people were there so just make sure you get booked without any delays. Highly recommended.

This was definitely one of the best meals we had in Dublin. The only downside was the wait between courses—almost 45 minutes from appetizer to entrée, which is way too long.
That said, the shrimp Pil Pil appetizer was amazing. The sauce was so flavorful! The featherblade steaks were cooked to perfection, and my creamed spinach side was fantastic. The beef dripping chips were tasty, though they didn’t really taste any different from regular fries, but still hit the spot. Unfortunately, the brandy peppercorn sauce didn’t have much flavor.
I was really tempted to try the sticky toffee pudding, but we skipped the pre-fixe menu since we weren’t super hungry. After the appetizer and entrée were so good, I definitely regretted that decision.

I booked a table of 6 people in Featherblade for our annual family Christmas Day out. I made the booking for 3:50 & when we arrived at 3:45 we were told our table was not ready, this was absolutely no problem at all so we waited. We didn’t get our table until after 4pm which again was not an issue. We all ordered the set menu & the food was fabulous, the Featherblade steak was definitely the best cut by far as the ribeye was quite chewy & tough! Their sides were all lovely, especially their truffled mac and cheese! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and food was brought out with no panic. In fact, we were actually served 4 of our main courses and then told there would be a 5 minutes delay for the other 2, which was quite annoying as we wanted to all eat together. However, while we were still eating our desserts the bill was brought to the table and we were told our table was needed back. We had only been in there about an hour and 15 minutes at this time and we were a large table of 6. We paid the bill and gave a large tip to say thanks for the food. Desserts were then collected and while 2 members of our group were using the bathroom the servers asked the rest of our table to leave right away as they needed the table back now. Very rude and disappointing to be kicked out of a restaurant after only an hour & 1/2, despite each person eating the set menu & buying drinks. This quick exit really ruined the end of our meal and left each of us saying we will not return any time soon.

Great tasting steak with excellent sauces. Chips were fried well and you can tell the potatoes used are fresh. The price is reasonable for such a great steak. The variety of sauces were tasty especially the in house peppercorn sauce which was amongst my favourites! Coming from London I can safely say this steakhouse is worthy of the 5*. If I ever come back to Dublin I’ll absolutely come back here again!

Lovely meal with my husband for his birthday. Food was gorgeous. We got the set menu and paid xtra for the steaks. Chips were a bit too salty but other than that food was delicious.

Not worth it!!!
We waited an hour for the steaks which were so salty that I had to scrape the topping off.
There was dirt in my side salad.
We sat there and waited for so long with the heating on max and then were so disappointed.
We seriously do not understand the hype.
The service was only okay – the compensation we got was just a free coke.
The atmosphere was quite depressing.
They had only one option for us – the complete set menu for 45€ each and it was not worth it.
We’re super disappointed.

Extremely good value for steak in Dublin and I would highly recommend. The set menu was great and the dinner wasn’t rushed. I would recommend to book before you come I saw a lot of walk-ins turned away on a Monday night.
