Feather Glass is a fantastic spot that nails the wine bar experience with a beautiful, modern aesthetic and top-tier service. While the food is incredibly tasty, a few minor tweaks to the composition and seasoning of certain dishes would make the experience truly flawless.

* The Flights: We thoroughly enjoyed both the wine and mimosa flights. They are well-curated, beautifully presented, and a great way to sample their extensive selection.
* Atmosphere: The ambience is excellent and sophisticated, making it one of the most visually appealing spots in Vernon Hills.
* Service: The staff provides excellent service—attentive and professional throughout the entire meal.
Food Feedback & Suggestions
* Mediterranean Flatbread: Very flavorful, but the olives can make it quite salty. Adding a balsamic glaze would provide a sweet contrast to balance out the saltiness.
* Beet Salad: Features fresh, high-quality ingredients. This dish would benefit from a touch more salt and a bit more acid (like a bright vinegar) in the dressing to really highlight the earthy beets.
* Paneer Palak Bites: A delicious fusion idea, but the execution was slightly misleading and difficult to eat. The bread lacked the expected toasted crispiness, and because the paneer is served in a thin slice, it often slides off, leaving the sauce on the plate.
* Suggestion: Try chopping the paneer into small cubes, bruschetta-style, and mixing them directly with the sauce. Layering that mixture onto a properly toasted baguette would create a much more stable and crunchy bite while keeping the great texture of the cheese.

This is a nice restaurant with a very interesting menu. The cuisine is hard to describe- sort of an Indian infused, fresh, modern vibe. The “Shrimply Munch-ly” was one of the best shrimp dishes I have ever tasted, despite the silly name. The service was great and the decor was modern, clean and welcoming. I would definitely go back.

Firstly we absolutely love this restaurant the food itself would keep us coming back however the service is always exceptional, fast and friendly. We come here often for birthdays and every valentines the owner is super knowledgeable on wines. The husband and wife team are amazing. They care. Always send complimentary champagne on special occasions and charcuterie boards if they feel we’ve waited too long which we don’t think we ever do. Just try this place it does not disappoint the pineapple mimosa and the Naan Nini is to die for. Ask for Shea E as your server she is the sweetest and most attentive. Will be back.

Feather Glass is a beautiful wine bar amd eatery with an Indian influence. Their wine selections are plentiful and eclectic. Their food choices are fun and criminally delicious, to say nothing about their desserts. The ambiance is inviting and comfortable. Their service is top notch. Friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. I was there with a party of 6 celebrating a 21st birthday. The staff brought out an amazing alcohol free lemonchelo icream served in a wine glass. Thank you so much for such a great time. 10/10 will return.

Loved the experience. We were there before it opened and we were walking away. But Savannah ran after us and let us in and was so pleasant even though she had to open up. The wine was great and so was the service. So glad we found a treasure in the area. Really had a great time. Try their bourbon. Very smooth.

I I didn’t want to leave. The appetizers were absolutely scrumptious! The portions were just right so you can enjoy the entrees. And don’t forget the wine pairings! Every food item comes with a parring. We had shrimply munchy and paneer palak bites. The shrimp was perfect for a warm summer evening, flavorful, cool and crisp. While the paneer was warm and creamy and delicious! My husband had the tumeric herb salmon. It had just the right amount of tumeric without being overly potent. I had the Madeira lemon chicken linguine. The chicken had a nice light taste of India. Don’t forget to leave some room for their chocolate lavender cake!! Oh my goodness, I’m a baker and have never tried lavender oil in my baking, but that is going to have to change. Will we be back again? Most definitely!!

Feather Glass offers a fusion of cuisines in an elegant interior. Our server, Rose, was friendly and professional. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Tacos from the happy hour menu. Being from Texas, we are picky about our tacos. We’re not usually fans of corn tacos, but these had a wonderful texture (not too soft, not too hard). The filling was delicious and the garnishes were the perfect compliment. I plan to have these every time I visit.
We also ordered the Paneer Roasted Ravioli, because who could pass on something so unique! The ravioli were tender and stuffed with firm and flavorful cheese. The Indian spiced tomato cream sauce put a delightful spin on this traditional Italian dish.
The wine menu is beyond extensive featuring local, national, and international varieties. We opted instead for the Orange Mango Basilini. The basil imparted a savory note to this refreshing non alcoholic drink.
We highly recommend Feather Glass and are already looking forward to our next meal there!

Such an amazing fusion of flavors! I cannot recommend Feather Glass Wine Bar & Eatery enough! Absolutely loved every flavor, over two appetizers and entrees. Paired with excellent recommendations from the owner, this is an experience not to be missed!
DO get the desert, the house made blackberry sauce goes best on everything. We loved it and you will too!
The ambiance is great with knowledgeable and courteous staff, and positive/upbeat energy throughout. We will keep going back until we’ve tried everything and then keep coming back for our favorites!

Beautiful space! Our hostess/waitress Cristina was absolutely lovely and extremely attentive. Great recommendations from her. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and wines.
The food was absolutely incredible! I highly suggest the chicken kabobs! The wait for the food was slightly long, but to “apologize for the wait” Cristina brought us a hummus platter which was also DELICIOUS.
