Our family had the best meal all week during our vacation at Feast OIB! The owner/chef greeted us at the door and seated us. The wedge salad was delicious with homemade blue cheese dressing. The lobster risotto was wonderful and beautifully presented. The crab legs were super meaty and tender. There are great options for kids too! Amazing, friendly service with a smile. As we were leaving, the owner/chef was cleaning tables and making sure things were running smoothly. We were very impressed! I also love that there are MANY gluten free options!

Who has a seafood restaurant with no hushpuppies? Well, they made up for it with a great experience! The crab legs were prepared perfectly and the shrimp was great. I like a more salty butter for my crab legs but everyone’s taste buds are different so I would say it was a good middle ground. The only suggestion I will leave is to check on your guests a little more, we looked around for our server a lot. Wasn’t very busy but it seemed like it took forever for them to check on us or get drinks. Other than that they did great… maybe if I had some hushpuppies to chew on while I waited on them to returned… just saying.

My wife was craving crab legs so we decided to come get some crab legs. The crab legs were incredible. My son decided to get a burger which he really enjoyed and my daughter had a very good salmon. All in all, great food. Now, the service wasn’t great. Our waitress tended to disappear for long periods of time which was a bit frustrating. If you want crab legs, this is the place to go in OIB

The “Take and Bake” from Feast OIB is a must when you don’t want to leave the house for an amazing meal. The Low Country Shrimp Boil was so good. The cocktail sauce had just the right amount of horseradish and was so amazing that I wanted to buy some to take home. We coupled this with a wedge salad which was a good size for the cost. The buffalo chicken cheese dip was delish! We did get the homemade chips but I’d actually prefer bread with this item. We will definitely be ordering again! If a delivery feature could be an option that would be perfect! I don’t actually think you can eat at the restaurant, as an FYI.

Absolutely amazing dinner at Feast OIB! I had the shrimp boil and added crab legs to it. It was delicious. The staff was so friendly and welcoming to our party. Between our group i got to try the pork chop, the short Rib and the shrimp scampi as well. Immaculate menu. You def won’t miss out on quality food by dining here. We will %100 be back!

FEAST OIB is a great little spot located in the small downtown area, about a mile before the bridge to the beach. It was only a 4-minute walk from our rental, and with all the good reviews, we had to check it out.
When we first walked in, the vibe gave old-school seafood buffet energy, the kind you’d expect at a beach town. But don’t let the look fool you. The food was good! It wasn’t very busy, aside from a big group and a couple other tables, but we were there early-ish 6pm. We snagged seats at the bar. We tried a few local beers and chatted with a local who gave us the scoop on some fun events happening that weekend.
I had been craving crab legs and ended up going for the Seafood Platter Extravaganza. When I ordered, the server said, “The Extravaganza? You go girl!” I laughed and asked if it was really that big, and she told me it was enough for two people. Naturally, I had to try it for myself. Honestly, when it came out, it wasn’t quite as extravagant as I had imagined. It was definitely enough for one person, but not for two. I only left behind a cob and a couple taters. The crab legs were flavorful, cooked just right, and generous in portion. The lobster tail was also delicious, though a bit small for something billed as extravagant. The shrimp was fantastic and the cocktail sauce was packed with flavor. It came with some solid veggies to round it all out.
My partner ordered the local favorite, the shrimp burger. We had never heard of one before and had questions. I honestly thought it was going to be a regular burger with shrimp on top. Nope. It was made entirely of shrimp, some pureed, some chopped into chunks, and formed into a patty. And let me tell you, it was delicious. We loved it so much, we made our own shrimp burgers when we got home. The onion rings were also super crunchy and fried to a perfect golden brown.
We would absolutely go back to FEAST OIB to try more dishes… or just order the exact same thing again! Highly recommend for a laid-back spot with solid seafood.

I’m still stuffed just thinking about the incredible Thanksgiving feast my family and I devoured from Feast OIB! The turkey was the star of the show, with its perfectly golden-brown skin and juicy meat. And let’s not forget the mac and cheese – it was creamy, cheesy, and utterly divine. The green bean casserole and stuffing were also expertly prepared, making for a truly unforgettable Thanksgiving dinner. Everything was fantastic.. We went for dinner and sat at the bar. We had the crab legs and filet mignon dinner. It was all perfect! They also do take and bake meals so we ordered chicken enchiladas and chicken Marsala so we had good, convenient food in case everything is closed for the 4th of July. What a brilliant idea to offer take and bake! We’ve been so happy with Feast and will make a visit anytime we’re in Ocean Isle. Supporting the local businesses are ideal for us. So happy we did! Sheila and her son gave great service and we’re so nice.

Our visit was great, we had the catch of the day and salmon and a swiss burger. The catch of the day was red drum and we had it with the fruit salsa and the lemon caper sauce both of which I would recommend. The salmon was a little weird, I cut the skin from the fish and kinda mixed it but it seemed powdery once I did that but the flavor was great. The she crab soup was really good too. There is a reason this place is rated high. If you are in the area this place is worth a try.. We also had the cheese curds and yes, you need an order of those.
