I very much enjoyed both the food and staff at this place. The customer service was wonderful, I could tell that people genuinely enjoyed interacting with their guests. Matt was especially friendly and very nice to have as a server. I can see why this place has gained such a loyal following.

I was very disappointed. I had my sons rehearsal dinner here. They put us in a room upstairs. The room shook and there was a noise like the washer spinning on a lop sided load. There are dried flowers hanging over the table which were full of dust. I couldn’t order a drink because it was off menu that we had done. How hard would it be to add a drink onto the bill. The food was the worst part. None of our allergy requests were followed. They gave the bride her food. She can’t have gluten, it was not gluten free, if she hadn’t doubled checked that would have ruined her wedding day. They brought her out a replacement when we were all almost finished. The chicken was a joke. Sadly many people chose this meal. They try to pass off an overly dried piece of chicken with no flavor, no sauce on greens and minimal shaved cheese as an Italian classic. How it should be is below. How it comes out is a culinary disgrace. The owner was there and would not do a thing to rectify the mess. Had nothing to say just looked at me. I had 15 people and paid thousands for this disaster. I should have just made a reservation and paid off the regular menu and sat in the dinning room. Thank God The Maker Hotel did the Wedding day. Food was amazing ! Very accommodating and professional These pictures are how the chicken dish should be. You can see by someone else’s photos how it came out. I didn’t take any pictures no reason to.

Everything about this place is amazing. The service is impeccable. The servers and hosts are very accommodating, professional and congenial. The menu is varied and very creative. The ambiance is unparalleled. I felt like I was dining in a small European village. The Brussel sprouts are the best that I’ve ever tasted.

We really wanted to like it here. Ambiance is great and service is lovely. Food honestly isn’t bad. We had some hits. But the portions are extremely small and will leave you wanting more. One of our pastas was cold and dry. Chicken gnocchi was tasty. Dessert was for ants.

I was pleasantly surprised my this beautiful little restaurant! Absolutely gorgeous setting. Decor is floral and warm. Food was just decent (I was served a dark cut of fish I would’ve give a guest at my house) but overall a high quality experience if you’re looking for nicer dining options during a trip upstate

Extremely nice and busy place. We had to book a day in advance and that too we could not be accommodated for dinner. All the dishes are great and the decor of the place is quite good. The washroom is quite quaint and unusually decorated. Portions are quite small and most of the entrees aren’t really sufficient for even one person. However, the food is quite good and so is the ambience. If one can afford it then it is worth the money.

Loved the atmosphere and the fact they have a covered outdoor patio with heaters. They’re dog friendly on the patio which they said was open year round. However, the food was subpar. The worst dish was the scallops – burnt, rubbery due to over cooking, obnoxiously small portion (5 randomly size scallops none of which were large). The chicken Milanese was fine, pasta was good, and pork chop was good. Service was fine. Drinks were good as well but nothing spectacular. Just an average place where the atmosphere is the only thing worth going for. Would not be back.

Such a magical, beautiful atmosphere with incredibly fresh and flavorful dishes! We came for dinner and had the breakfast radish salad, asparagus, arancini, lumache, and trout. Every dish was truly divine. Had an amazing bottle of natural wine. Also loved how they make their own honey, deliciously fresh ricotta and have the sweetest area at the center of the dining room to make a bouquet of flowers! Can’t wait to come back!
