This place has such delicious pulled pork sandwiches! I think that’s what I order every time I go there. The potato salad is okay. I ordered some recently, but it was only salty for my tastes. The atmosphere is a mix of modern and vintage. It’s never been overly crowded when I’ve been here. The food is great, so I’m giving it five stars. Parking can be kind of troublesome. Usually it’s easier to park across the road in the parking lot by the YMCA.

My lady friend and I went here last night. It was a Tuesday and not crowded. I loved it. I will be going back to try some of the other menu items. She had the Mexican pork taco . I had the American style chicken BBQ taco. They both tasted great. We also shared a big chocolate bourbon slushie. I’m definitely going to have more of these when the weather is warmer. I thought the prices were OK. Service was friendly. This restaurant is across from the Y (next to the Exchange) just a block or so from the Amphitheater.

Our first time at Feast. The food was great. The staff was very attentive. Seating is European style where you find an unoccupied seat at large tables and set down, sometimes with people you have never met but still a good experience. Will definitely go again.

We ordered a bunch of food from these guys for the company Christmas party, and they only sent us half of what we ordered. That was kind of lame, but we compensated by buying a couple of pizza which turned out to be a good idea all the way around. THE FOOD HERE IS TERRIBLE. The meats had a nice smokey flavor but were otherwise completely unseasoned. The vegetarian option we ordered was literally a block of tofu soaked in cider vin and smoked. Again, no seasoning. Their sauce is whatever. I don’t like it, but maybe other people do? By far the worst thing was their collard greens though. They literally tasted like leafs raked out my back yard and soaked in vinegar. Disgusting. I had heard good things about this place, but I was incredibly disappointed.

Like many others, I was sad when the owners decided to close the mothership (the New Albany location) in late March. However, it takes nothing away from this being the best BBQ in the area. The pulled pork literally melts in your mouth and their sauce offerings only enhance the experience. Add to that, both their Mac & Cheese and sweet potato fries being equally excellent and the reader may just be asking themselves why they’ve yet to visit this gems East Market location.

Ordered the 1/2 lb brisket with mac and cheese and baked beans. Husband also had brisket with beans and slaw. Brisket was dry, cold, flavorless and very fatty. Macaroni seemed old and very dry. Slaw was almost inedible. Only good thing was the baked beans. Portions are very small. Definitely not worth $38 for 2 people (only drank water). Have eaten here many times before, and the quality has definitely gone downhill.

Yummy BBQ, Semi-funky environment, very down home and cool, with great beers. Even the salads are quite tasty. Counter order to be brought to your table. Their BBQ sauce is so good you can but it on everything!!

The meat is good. It’s so good. The Mac and cheese was great. The cole slaw and potato salad were bland. The slaw might as well have just been shredded lettuce. I expect more from vinegar slaw. The buns were stale. When I called, I asked for enough to feed 10 people and was told they had an option that feeds 6-8. No suggestions were offered as to how to supplement that. With the sides, I’m not sure that there was enough in those tiny containers to actually provide a reasonable serving for 6 people. They were only the size of my fist. I’m the type of person that understands that food that tastes great costs a little more but this food is still expensive. Very. But the taste (excluding the vinegar slaw and the potato salad) is almost worth all the price. My guests were very pleased with the taste of the meat, beans and Mac& cheese ($4 extra) the young ladies in the store made sure to come out and get me from the enormous line because I had called in my order a couple days earlier. I probably won’t go here very often due to this experience but occasionally I might return. Also, this was very extremely easy to find.

My boyfriend and I went to Feast after reading good reviews about the food. All very well deserved. The food was awesome. However, the service was…nonexistent.
They use Square, which meant that you tip before you see how the service is, coming from a serving background this left me uncomfortable. If you already have your tip then why work for it?
All around the style of Feast is self service. You don’t expect this when you walk in. The place has a Silver Dollar, Doc Crows, Manny and Merle feel with a fast food style. You order and pay at the bar. Then you get your own drink, silverware and napkins. Basically no need for a server.
We ordered the loaded tots and brisket slides with mac and cheese, the sauce made the meal. Your only option for a side is slaw, you choose creamy or vinegar. Anything else cost extra. :/
I just got out if school and my boyfriend off work. We were looking for a place to relax. So we had a seat at the bar. While we sat there no one waited on us. No offer of a drink list or even a simple “would you like a beer”. (They do offer a good selection on Indiana craft beers. )
We felt rushed to eat our food while the staff closed the restaurant down around us. So, instead of finishing our tots while there we asked for a to-go box. The gentlemen behind the bar ran to get the boxes. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough for them. They closed 15 minutes before their scheduled time! As soon as we were out the door it was locked with the blinds pulled down. I guess next time we make the drive to New Albany we will just check out The Exchange.
