BBQ is our passion. We strive to produce the most consistent smoked meats possible and scratch made sides. Barbecue takes time, dedication, and the constant pursuit of perfection. It takes us a long time to cook our food and we hope you can taste our patience. We have been named Louisville’s Best Barbecue Restaurant by the readers of the LEO Weekly consistently since 2015. Seating and food is first come, first serve. We do not take reservations. Ordering and service is at the front counter. Vegetarian, gluten-free, and soy-free options are available, but there are no true vegan options. Sorry, kind of; we are a BBQ place after all.

We had a guys trip to Louisville and decided to check out Feast BBQ. We were not disappointed. The food was fast, plentiful and excellent. We all started with their bourbon slushees which were very good. I got the loaded tots and pork cake poppers. They recommend the poppers. It was something ! would not have ordered because I didn’t know what they were. All I can say is give them a try as the my were very tasty. Hard to describe other than a friend ball of goodness. I didn’t get a chance to try all of the BBQ options. I will have to come back again.

Stopped by Feast BBQ for dinner in Louisville and ordered the brisket sandwich with tater tots. The quality was excellent — tender, smoky, and full of flavor. The toasted bun and house BBQ sauces added a nice touch, and the tots were perfectly crispy and well-seasoned.
That said, the value just isn’t quite there. $18 for a brisket sandwich and one side felt a bit steep, especially given the portion size — the sandwich wasn’t very large. Still, if you’re after quality barbecue and don’t mind paying a little extra, Feast delivers on both taste and atmosphere.
The open, industrial-style space gives it a relaxed, local vibe, and parking is free and easy out back.

My wife and I were heading home to Michigan and decided to take a detour for lunch break and came here. We enjoyed the simple process of ordering our food, paying, and being seated, and the food arrived within 5 minutes, and Wow, did it taste good. We enjoyed the easygoing atmosphere and then we left and walked around the town. Highly recommend!

Although we ordered take-out, the food was still warm when I got home. Everything was seasoned well, large portions and taste delicious (brisket sandwich and baked beans) This was my first visit which was highly recommended by friends. The next time I will dine, the atmosphere looked fun and inviting.

Came in about 15 minutes before closing so I should have known better. Ordered the pulled pork sandwich and I wish I hadn’t. Dry but greasy, and over salted. Just wasn’t good. Couldn’t finish it and then went out for pizza. I’m sure I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I did get water to drink so thank you.

I got the pulled pork sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries and an order of banana pudding. Everything was phenomenal, no notes! The sandwich was piled high with pork, which was tender and flavorful. The restaurant had self-serve sauces available and the hot vinegar went very well with the sandwich. The fries were hot and fresh, with a nice crunch. The banana pudding was rich and creamy. I also thought the prices were very fair, especially for the portion sizes.

Based on way these reviews are distributed, I think there’s a lunch and dinner (end of day) disconnect. I came a couple hours before closing and the food was not great. Brisket was tough. All food came out cold, which really soured the whole experience. I ordered wings to go, and sampling one, I will concede they are excellent.
Also, even if the brisket was tender and food was hot, I still think the place is overpriced, including the small bourbon slushie. This is a counter service place with a sort of unpolished earthy “authentic” read to it, complete with live bluegrass musician. It’s priced like a Michelin star restaurant. I’m kidding, a little bit.
Finally, no ribs. That’s wild to me for a BBQ place. They do serve them on Sundays only, but were sold out when I arrived.

Feast BBQ is a great place to visit for BBQ and Beer. Parking is to the right of the building and the restaurant has a QR code that you can scan to validate parking. Free for 2 hours. You order at the counter when you walk in and they bring the food to your table. I ordered a pilsner draft beer, the pulled pork sandwich and mac n cheese. It was delicious. I think the mac n cheese could have been better though. My buddy got the brisket and he said it was really good. The restaurant had a cool atmosphere and was clean. There is an outdoor seating area out front too.
