Walking into Woodfired Italian Kitchen, I was immediately drawn to the rustic charm, the warm lighting, wood tones, and relaxed atmosphere give it that old-world Italian feel that’s both welcoming and authentic. It’s the kind of space that makes a solid first impression, which is why I was hopeful for what followed.
Unfortunately, the dining experience didn’t quite match the setting. My side salad and main course arrived together, which struck me as odd. Timing matters in dining, especially when it comes to pacing the meal, it’s about rhythm, anticipation, and flow. Serving both simultaneously took away from that experience. My chicken alfredo was fine but nothing memorable, decent flavor, missing that spark or attention to detail that separates a good dish from a great one.
The service was pleasant enough, polite and professional, but it felt like they were just going through the motions. Nothing went wrong, yet nothing stood out either. After 20+ years in the hospitality industry, I tend to notice the little things, timing, engagement, attentiveness, and here it all felt somewhat mechanical.
Overall, Woodfired Italian Kitchen was okay. The ambiance delivers, the staff are kind, and the food is serviceable, but it lacks that memorable touch that makes you eager to return. It’s a good spot for a casual meal, but if you’re looking for passion on the plate or service that connects, it might leave you wanting a bit more.

Absolutely loved this spot!! The pasta was amazing! I got the mushroom pappardelle, my daughter had the spaghetti & meatballs & my bf got the trio rich comes with spaghetti, lasagna & chicken parm. The food was delicious, we enjoyed it, the staff was nice, we had Dakota as our waiter & he was very kind, constantly checking if we were okay & needed anything. But not like over our shoulders kind of way. We would definitely come back!

Have been coming to the place for a while and they always keep high standards while creating italian dishes. They absolutely have no rival for lasagnas. Best ever ever. Prosciutto pizza are upscale and meetballs have no comparison. Shutout to our server Gloriana, we loved her, excellent customer service skills. Thank you guys

The only way to describe the food and service at this place! Hands down best Italian Pizza in Orlando and the staff is not only super kind but they are also deeply passionate about their menu and what they bring to the table. Big shoutout to Craig for making our experience a one of a kind!

Absolutely fantastic experience. We went as a group of four and ordered several dishes to share, and every single item was top-notch. We had the meatballs, stuffed mushrooms, house salad, cheese tortellini with creamy pesto and grilled chicken, and the margarita pizza — all were outstanding.
To finish, we had tiramisu and limoncello, which were the perfect ending to an already amazing meal.
The service was excellent, and the atmosphere is gorgeous — warm, inviting, cozy, and clean without feeling rigid or formal. Just a really comfortable, welcoming space.
Everything was delicious, the experience was wonderful, and we will absolutely be back. Highly recommend.

I came to F&D Italian Kitchen with my family on a Sunday evening. The place was not busy at all so we were seated rather quickly. The server was nice the atmosphere was ok. It was very dark and I had to break out my flashlight to read the menu. I ordered a margarita pizza which I would think would be hard to mess up but I guess I was wrong. The tomatoes tasted like they were from a can instead of fresh and the mozzarella was rubbery. The pizza overall was incredibly salty and also tasted burned. Blaze Pizza is far superior than here.

Food was great. The wine for happy hour was really good. The service was good and the food came out quickly. My girlfriend and I got the meatballs, calamari, and FD garlic bread for appetizers. They were all great. Then did eggplant parm and chicken piccata. Both were delicious and large portions. Loved the decor and atmosphere.

Visited yesterday for the first time and tried numerous dishes. The Zucchini Frites were an entire strip of zucchini friend with breading. I wasn’t a fan and I would have preferred them to be like Zucchini fries. The garlic bread was enough to feed a small army and its garlic bread, very tasty without as much “garlic” as there is cheese and bread, good nonetheless. The Caesar salad is very light with Caesar dressing, my wife would have preferred that, I would have liked a little more flavor and dressing. We had the Queen Bee pizza that was a little spicy and good, 6.8/10. The Grouper Picatta was the best dish, a little more sauce than I’d prefer (took over the entire plate) but it was cooked great and the veggie, asparagus w/ artichoke was very tasty. The atmosphere is very nice and the service was good, I can tell there are some rooms for improvement with orders/drinks, etc. Overall would recommend for an easy pop in. The bar setup is amazing! Made me want to have a drink. Always trust someone who reviews restaurants that’s just enough overweight to make a good determination! That which I am. Hope you enjoyed the honest review.

Great customer service, a clean establishment & the food was served in a timely manner. It was cooked in a brick oven & w/fresh ingredients. Idk how the greens taste but the sweet vinaigrette dressing that came with it was thick like a paste and had a unique taste. The steak was tender the mushrooms weren’t soggy but there was no seasoning on anything. The crust was crispy but burnt. I’d give it a 7/10.
