Going to Fayz at the Lake at 11 AM right when they opened in Manning was a great time. It wasn’t noisy, & we were in the back where we could see out the window to the lake. The waitress was fast & attentive, & the food was yummy. You could order off lunch or dinner menu. I’d definitely go there again with friends & family. We best the Valentine’s rush & didn’t have to have a reservation like later today.

My kids and I enjoyed the food and the magnificent view of the lake my Son enjoy the Flander fish meal and my daughter the Ruben sandwich and for me the strawberry and pecan smoothie.
I have to add my daughter is special need on the spectrum of autism and normally we have hard times wen a comes to go to a restaurant people stare but here they make us feel welcome

We ( The Black Creek Band ) from Hartsville, SC thoroughly enjoyed playing for the patrons at Fayz. The restaurant/bar was on the lake front with a beautiful view. The owners and his family are the nicest people, atmosphere was fabulous and the food was absolutely delicious! Best steak in Santee!

Was a little disappointed we wanted to sit outside they don’t have that anymore unless you get it to go. I had fried shrimp which was good sweet potato fries a little over cooked okra was good. Husband had chicken dish with bacon mushrooms and barbecue sauce it was tasty.

Hey this place felt like home, I’m from Edisto and love that water. If your in the area or not need to come by and get some home cooking. I enjoyed the atmosphere and can’t say enough about food. Sweet tea was dang good too. We went by here 2 nights in a row and I’m thinking since we have the kid maybe making it a third night… Thank y’all and looking for property if anyone has one. Nice location. Local spot. Always busy and smells great when we drive by. The service and food were good. We had fried pickles, and they were piping hot and delicious. I ordered my sandwich with onion petals. The petals were warm at best, but everything else was nice.

My hamburger was dry and bun was drier. Fries were great. Cole slaw was meh. My wife’s chicken salad platter was simply a giant clump of chicken salad with some pre-packaged characters. Service was very good and the atmosphere was pleasant. Prices were good though food was blah. Once was enough for us.
