We chose this spot for my mom’s bday brunch and I am so happy we did. The food was AMAZING! The service was just as amazing. The vibe was right! Everything we ordered was very delicious as so well presented. I highly recommend this place. We will be coming back to try more items from the menu. Btw if you want so house made chicken and waffles. This is your spot. You have to try them out.

We are always on the lookout for something different and heard about a new Haitian restaurant and had to try it. The food was fantastic! The staff, super friendly, and you could see they took pride in what they did. This is a definite MUST TRY. Definitely try the ox tails, short ribs, or Fritay. BU

Food and drinks were perfect. The appetizers were great two. I had the pork fretay, which also was you guessed perfect. The bread pudding desert was great too. Service was good, the waiter made sure my toddler had coloring stuff and we got the little one Mac and cheese which I ate half because it was so good. Just a super great spot.

It’s not often I go to New London, but I would drive an hour and a half any Saturday to have brunch here again! I have to say, the chef is really talented here, and the menu is well-rounded. The croquette Madame was one of the dishes we were impressed by the most with a delicious bechamel sauce. I was glad that they still offered their regular brunch menu in addition to the Saturday specials, because I was able to try the oxtail and grits which were fantastic as well! Absolutely the vibe, and we hope to come back when the weather gets warmer to enjoy the patio. One of the best restaurants I’ve visited in New London for sure!

Came for the first time with my friends and fell in love with the restaurant. The atmosphere is very pretty (date-friendly) in addition to the fact that there’s a beautiful view in the front and back of the restaurant. I had the rasta pasta for an entree which was ssoooooo good, it tasted even better when I reheated the left overs which is a very rare find. I also tried the wings as an appetizer and they were delicious and filling!! My first time was such a good experience I came back the next week because I couldn’t get them out my head. I also tried several drinks on my second visit and every single one of them were tasty nor were they heavily alcohol tasting. When I go back to CT I will be stopping here again

As Afro-Caribbeans, my sister and I love supporting local Black-owned businesses, so we were really excited to try Favorites for lunch.

We were seated pretty quickly, but after that, we never saw our waiter again.

At the time, we were the only Black people dining there. We sat and watched the staff take care of other tables, taking orders, bringing drinks, and checking on them, while no one came back to our table at all.

After about 40 minutes, we had to flag down another waitress and let her know we hadn’t been helped since being seated. She apologized, took our drink and food order, and brought our drinks.

We never saw her again.

We waited almost another hour with no food and no check-in. Meanwhile, people who came in after us were getting their meals and being checked on multiple times.

Eventually, we went up to the front, explained what happened, and left. We never got our food.

Went for Sunday brunch. The Bloody Mary was very good. The perfect amount of spice. We shared the chorizo hash which was ok and the short rib Benedict which was very good. The service was excellent.

I came here with a few friends after a Saturday workday and they had just opened up for dinner. We were promptly seated and taken care of. The drinks were cute and good of course but the foooddd omg delicious. It did take a while to come out but because it was a large plate I understood the wait. It was also so delicious so I can’t even be mad. We had the mussels, corn ribs, plantain tacos, and jerk chicken. Everything was cooked well and with love. My fave was the mussels omg that coconut milk broth was divine I wish I could put it in a jar and take it to go! Definitely visit and support this growing business. I can’t wait to come visit again I will be back all the way from NY

If you’re looking for a fun and memorable dining experience in New London, you need to check out this spot!
They have an espresso martini special of the month. When I visited it was Nutella and had a Belgian waffle garnish…. I mean OMG!!
They also do a mimosa special, this one was a sangria mimosa and was outstanding!
Definitely try the short rib Benedict, toy will not be disappointed.
There’s so many delicious dishes, you really can’t go wrong with any of them.
If you prefer a more sweet breakfast than savory, definitely have the crème brûlée French toast! It was perfectly cooked with a soft center and little crisp on the outside.

Definitely looking forward to visiting during the warmer months to enjoy the back patio over looking the water!

My children brought me here for brunch to celebrate my birthday. First time for all of us eating here. We all basically ordered something different and we were all amazed at how delicious everything was. We were all trying each other’s dishes. We tried the creme brulee french toast, favorites breakfast, chicken and waffles, short rib benedict and the breakfast burger. The staff was amazing and attentive. The chef came out to greet us and to top it off they brought me a slice of Tiramisu and sang happy birthday.
Great place! I 100% recommend you give them a try
