Food was pretty good. The bread Sherri e was phenomenal. We ordered fried pickles which were good and I order a Monte Cristo which was pretty good. Hubby said his meatloaf was pretty good. It was a quiet restaurant, which I love. Service was okay. Our waitress didn’t seem the friendliest, but she brought us refills of our drinks without us asking, so that ma a major plus!

Affordable, good food. Service was not great but they seemed a bit understaffed tonight. Really enjoy their calabash chicken. Somewhat long wait times for food and the atmosphere is really weird. Comparable to Applebee’s but with a southern flair and higher quality food.

The only reason I’d give this place 2 stars was because the fried green tomatoes were good. Everything else was cold, dry, and very disappointing. Plates were dirty, tea tasted old, and food was sooo gross. It’s looked good, but don’t let that fool you. It was everything but good.

Service was okay, nothing special. We did wait about 5 minutes without anyone Acknowledging us at the hostess stand. We order a burger and ribs and the burger was good but there was one part of the rib that was cold and had an odd taste. Liquor isn’t sold anymore either.

Server was great. Food took forever to get and was only warm. Server said he couldn’t find anyone in the kitchen to check on our order. There were only 4 tables with customers so they can’t say they were busy. Appetizers came out same time as food.

they were out of almost everything, food took a while and had no flavor whatsoever and had hairs in them. didn’t get silverware until we asked. waitress talking about their personal lives out loud for the whole restaurant. waitress insulted other waitress out loud and even took a phone call in the middle of the restaurant. restaurant was unkept as well.

We were so excited to stop by for lunch. We’ve never been here before and the place looked good.
So we go in seated pretty quickly. The booth seats are falling apart we had to fix them before being able to sit. We ask for a booster seat for our daughter. Which the strap was broken and the seat was dirty my husband had to pull onion off, big chunks of onion. An our waitress did not seem thrilled. I asked her for rootbeer she explains they don’t serve root beer. OK no big deal I ask if there are any drinks without caffeine. She’s now clearly annoyed with me. She said diet Pepsi and diet Dr pepper Has no caffeine. WRONG! at this point my daughter’s getting to fussy so we didn’t want to disturb the other diners. So We order our meal to go. She proceeded to complain about us within earshot. Half a brick wall doesn’t make it sound proof. So we get our food and go home to find hair!! In our food. Thick black hair. Our waitresses hair is in our food. I just threw it out. Don’t trust anything from this place now. I wish I never tipped her and will never b back. The receipt said our servers name is ashiegh.

They really need to get it together!! I mean we waited for 20 minutes before we were even greeted by a server…. it’s ALREADY been 30 more mins and our order still hasn’t arrived. The host seemed confused as to what was going on and was making excuses for our SERVER…..when our food finally did arrive the tots were cold and tasted stale. The burger was so greasy that when i picked it up grease ran all over the place….COME ON PPL !!!! I REMEMBER WHEN THIS PLACE WAS ACTUALLY DECENT AND THE SERVICE WAS FAST AND FRIENDLY!!!! SERVICE IS GARBAGE AND I WORK IN THE RESTAURANT BIZ….I DO BELIEVE OUR SERVER ONLY SPOKE TO US TWICE DURING THE COURSE OF OUR MEAL…. DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE BACK!!!! S/N HIRE PPL THAT CAN MULTI-TASK AND CAN MAINTAIN MORE THAN 2 TABLES

We took our mother here for mothers day. There were 8 of us that needed to be seated. We had to wait an hour to get a seat. Then we were not able to all sit together. We ended up having g back to back booths. The rolls were great with the cinnamon butter. I ordered the grilled pork chops with macaroni and cheese, mashed red potatoes and coleslaw. The porkcjps were good. Couldn’t eat the slaw, it was hot and tasted weird. My sister tried it, she said it tasted like maybe seafood juice was on it. The macaroni was bland and dry. Our waitress ,Bre, she was going her best. I guess they were short staffed maybe. But we had to ask for saucers ,for our rolls 3 limes Extra ice ,twice because there was very little in our teas and it was hot too. Extra napkin ,twice. Once we all got done ,we were waiting for our check for what seemed like 45 minutes. They really need to hire more staff. If possible. I realize it was mothers day, but the service needs to improve. There was a guy, that came while we were waiting and he didn’t get his call in order until after we had been seated, that’s like 1 1/2 hours. And it was all in one bag , that wasn’t full.
