Went here a year ago I thought the food was pretty good. Went back to take my husband and I over heard someone say they sold the restaurant. My husband ordered a special they had for the month I guess a ziti with meatballs. The pasta was hard and It had to be the worst tasting sauce I ever had. He was hungry and ate it I kept telling him to send it back. The small rolls they no longer bring unless you ask for them.
I actually ordered one of the appetizers they had and it wasn’t bad.
3 star cause of the small rolls and service was pretty good.
Not sure if we will go back.

Lately the food is just not up to par..the calabash chicken is more like chicken nuggets.. another guest did brag on the ham and turkey catering meats…
Had a good meal today at Fatz. Wife had steak, shrimp, calabash chicken was very good. Her steak cooked medium was perfect. Waitress was on the ball. I ADDED A STAR FROM 3 TO 4!
However, the new salad bowls hold less salad than their regular side salad see the pictures. A 5 dollar salad IS NOT WORTH THE 11 TO 13 DOLLAR PRICE.
THE SALAD ALTHOUGH GOOD IS NOT WORTH THE PRICE…

I am editing my review. I usually LOVE Fatz and I had previously given 4 stars but not tonight. I am so disappointed. I called in an order for a house salad w/extra ranch, loaded smashed potatoes, and a side of broccoli casserole. Well, my potatoes were mashed potatoes with some pieces of what I assume was supposed to be bacon, no sour cream, no cheese, no chives. The brocolli casserole looked like it had been sitting there all day and they hardly gave me any (pic attached-before I even tried it). But the worst thing was…they gave me Light ranch dressing!!!! The reason I say that was the worst is because that is why I order a salad from certain places, because I can’t recreate that ranch!! So now I sit hungry, with bland potatoes, dried up brocolli and a salad covered in light dressing. I lost my appetite.

Thursday evening around 8pm my fiance and I went into the restaurant and were seated. We ordered our drinks and the seafood sampler. Our server then took our dinner order. Rolls and the appetizer came promptly. For our entree we ordered the 14 Barrel Bourbon Burger and I asked for a baked sweet potato as well. The appetizer was great the rolls as well. Our entree arrived and the $3 sweet potato was possibly the SMALLEST sweet potato I have EVER SEEN! When the server came back by I was nice about telling her that I no longer wanted the sweet potato and I just wanted it taken off of our bill.
The server had management remove it from our bill and before we could even take a bite of the entree we were splitting our server gave us our bill! After she dropped the bill at our table she seemed OVERLY EAGER to get us out of the restaurant and her section. It was extremely disappointing to feel as if we needed to HURRY AND EAT AND LEAVE!! Needless to say that we did NOT ENJOY OR have a good dining experience as we had assumed or hoped for. Our 27 minute sit down dinner was the WORST dining experience we have endured in a good while.

I liked their chicken and my wife liked her meal too. Our waitress was nice but a little scatter-brained. She forgot a few things that we asked for only to remember a while later. We had her wash the table because it was a little sticky. She did wash it again but the wood finish really needs to be refinished. The restaurant was full and everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals!

Order ribs this was different for me. I usually order the citrus grilled chicken. The ribs were the worst. They were fatty, tough and just plan nasty. Could not eat them. Had the waitress take them back and I ordered something else on menu. Waitress was good but not once did the manager come to our table after sending the food back. I will think twice before going back. One last thing the manager decided to take $10.00 off the bill. She still didn’t come to the table.

Not a fan since they have changed their menus and the recipes for their bread and butter, and also the calabash chicken is no longer as good as it used to be. The last time I went I got a steak, it was definitely not worth what I paid. The staff have always been nice and attentive in my experience, just wish the food would go back to the way it was. We don’t have a lot of nice chain restaurants in this county so it would be great if they could live up to their previous reputation.

Have never had a bad meal here until now. Won’t go back. The server was good. My friends fries were cold as was her She Crab Soup. My Shrimp and Grits mostly went into a takeout box for my husband. He didn’t eat it either.
