The brisket taco’s were excellent!! Really didn’t need any BBQ sauce for the taco’s. The 1/2 rack of ribs was also very good. The meat so was tender it fell off the bone. Baked bean were ok. The spicy BBQ was not spicy but had a good flavor.

This place is fine. They were out of a few items on their menu the night we came in. Chicken and ribs. Like other reviewers said, it is very greasy. Which is true. The pork tacos were pretty good. There was no carbonation in the soda machine either but there was for the machine behind the counter so we got our sodas from there. The staff was nice and apologetic about the items that were out and the soda. If you feel like barbecue give it a try.

My review is only based on my teaveling experimce all over the US/International. I was recommended by AFB a must try the Brisket Nacho before I leave. Clean and frriendly place, prompt service. Basic selection menu. Got nacho with no onions, never tried pickles on them before so, thought i’d try it. In all it was ok, the cheese is different from what i have tried at other places, even at gas station (hot dogs cheese). Brisket was good, no doubt on that, but extra meat would be good (recommend to extra meat it. I’ve seen other customers get the bbq sandwich which by the looks of it, has alot of meat. So maybe if im back here again, i’ll give it a try. In all, it was ok

The Brisket Tacos are one of a kind. Load them up with that BBQ sauce they got and you have one delicious tacos. They have a surprising amount of entrées to choose from. Even pizza. However the highlight is definitely the BBQ dishes. I’ll be definitely coming back for more.

Brisket moist was ok, while their Pork Ribs are fat and juicy, my friend said that it’s the best he had so far, and I would agree.

There are many great places to eat in Alamogordo, this however is not one of them. They were out of macaroni and cheese, they were out of potatoes, they were out of nachos. They had no ice for their drinks and the bottled drinks they did have were not cold. Brisket tacos were literally some brisket in a cold tortilla. No cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, cilantro or salsa. Just dry, tasteless brisket in a cold tortilla. The ribs were very tough, cold and with almost no meat on them. It came with a small serving of very bland coleslaw and a cold roll. The bowl of elote with brisket was ok but again, the brisket dry and tasteless. I have no idea how a place like this manages to stay in business. Look literally anywhere else if you’re hungry in Alamogordo.

We had a Great dinner tonight!! David noticed that I mentioned I was disappointed by one meal previously and he went above and beyond for our family! We loved everything we ordered tonight! I even had to take a piece of my husband’s spicy sausage and it blew me away! The flavor was amazing!! We will come back for that again and again! Great Customer Service all around, from the young man answering the phone to the young lady at the window to the owner himself! Very impressed!!

I got the brisket and mac & cheese sandwich, and it was good. The brisket is flavorful, but not as much smoke or black pepper as I prefer. The mac and cheese was good. I added black pepper to the pinto beans, and it reminded me of the beans catered at the annual John Deere house dinner when I was a kid.
