The service at Fatty’s is a masterclass in efficiency and Southern hospitality, but what truly elevated our experience was the staff’s incredible accommodation. Our server was quick with recommendations and attentive throughout the evening. However, the chef went above and beyond when my mother found her seafood dish too spicy. The chef personally intervened creating an entirely separate, specially prepared, non-spicy version of the seafood item just for her. This immense dedication to ensuring every guest is satisfied—even if it means customizing a dish entirely—is a rare and commendable display of commitment that speaks volumes about the restaurant’s quality.
The Fried Seafood Platter: Fatty’s version is exceptional. The shrimp were huge, perfectly tender, and coated in a thin, crisp, cornmeal batter that avoided any hint of grease. Served alongside homemade coleslaw and addictive hand-cut fries, it was pure comfort food elevated by the quality of the ingredients.
You certainly won’t leave hungry.

I had the etouffee with catfish. It was excellent. My wife had the crab cakes and eggplant with a seafood sauce and said it was delicious. Service was very good. You need to try this place

It was great dining experience. Food was fresh, hot amd flavorful. My wife raved about the seasoned fries. She enjoyed her shrimp tacos and I had 12 seafood platter. Only negative was my water had a funny taste which is reason for not 5 stars.

Was eager to try this place as I had been seeing all the haters spewing nonsense online. Today was our first time here and we had a wonderful experience. Great fried seafood and salads. The gumbo was delicious, but could have been served a tad warmer for my liking. All the staff were very friendly and polite. Shout out to Cody for making us feel like regulars. We will definitely be back.

Chose take out from here for my special birthday meal for me and my family. Staff was friendly when I arrived to pick up my order. No problems there. Once I got home, I found that the fried bowties with the spinach and artichoke dip were overcooked and hard (all 3 orders,) and my salad was completely left out of my order. Three other dinner plates family members chose were good. Just super disappointed, as I could only eat a few of the bowties and I would’ve enjoyed my salad at least if it had been included in my order like it was supposed to have been. I double checked my receipt and it was definitely on the receipt. I didn’t bother driving back up there because it’s 30 minute round trip drive from where we live.

The food was absolutely ABSURDLY disgusting! I spent borderline $30 on my meal, and was thoroughly disappointed. Quality was subpar, temperature was lukewarm, and taste was lacking. Not to mention the INSANE wait time. I waited for an hour, for my meal alone. They were not even busy. The service was the only saving grace-Sadie was a doll. However the management team was unhelpful and disrespectful. When I asked for a refund the manager rolled her eyes and scoffed. Will NEVER return.
