I just experienced Southern Hospitality to the maximum this past 4th of July, in a 1000% positive experience! We were just passing by this town for the day. It’s a huge holiday and everything is closed. My husband is trying to get a place where we can have brunch with our family of six (6). He called different places until he reach, Wendy (owner) of this place. She was definitely godsend! She told him they were closed for the day but working in the bakery to get things ready for the next day. Long story short, she told him to pass by the location and we can get some food. We ordered a lot of food. That chicken rotisserie sandwich was the best I have had in my lifetime. All the pastries, parfait and scones were delicious! We had the best experience thanks to Wendy and her team! If you are in the area, please stop by, as you will not regret it! We loved it! Thank you Wendy for taking care of us on the 4th of July! We will never forget you! ♥️♥️♥️

I stopped by to grab a croissant for my wife and was pleasantly surprised to see they have savory options. The spinach/feta stuffed croissant was so good it’s difficult to put into words. I could’ve eaten three in a row.

Just inside the Lynchburg Community Market doors and to the right past Barb’s Dream Hut, you’ll find this delectable little bakery. It’s a favorite stop (one of many) when we’re downtown. The oatmeal whoopee pie pictured is amazing, and after trying several of their offerings, I will not stray from this being my favorite! My boys are fond of their donuts and croissants. Most recently we tried their lunch menu special of chicken pot pie, a cookie, and a roll which was packaged to-go style due to Covid. It was tasty, satisfying, and reasonably priced. The tables are still open in the market too if you care to sit and eat.

Hannah goes above and beyond for her customers. She’s so kind and friendly and will do whatever it takes to help. The desserts are always delicious, and the kids and I look forward to our weekly treats from Father’s. Such a great staple for Downtown Lynchburg!

I had a delicouse Blondie with White Chocolate and Cranberry. It was sooo good! And the service was great as well. My aunt had a Cannoli she loved it too. I would deffinitely go back.

Ken and his team at their bakery are fantastic!! I have ordered from them twice for my team. They have delicious bagels of all kinds and are super accommodating. So if you are in the Lynchburg area and need a good breakfast for a large group, this is a great place!

The best doughnuts in Lynchburg!!! Hands down! And I’m super picky. There was not a stale doughnut in the box. Even the cake doughnuts and glazed that tend to be on the stale side at other places, we’re moist and delicious. I’m not a sweet eater per se, but I’ll swerve into that lane for his doughnuts!! Come try them for yourself. You will not be disappointed!!
