ONLY GO IN THE EVENINGS FOR GOOD SERVICE.
This is one of the best burgers in Fairbanks. Possibly the best. I’ve always gone in the evening for dinner. The staff is normally happy and joking around with each other, creating a relaxed atmosphere.
I went in for lunch one day, the staff seemed to be stressed.
The lady
(I guess the owner/manager, white, 5 feet tall, with black Oakley glasses)
who took my order tried to up sell me on getting a meal, instead of just a burger. She got annoyed when I turned it down.
Her attitude and service almost turned me away, but their burgers are good enough to keep me coming back. I now only go in the evenings and have had only good service so far.

I like to Suport local businesses and am willing to pay more to do so. I got the smallest burger and fries with a shake for 24 bucks. The girl at the register was very nice. I got the meal to go. I saw there were 2 or 3 packs of ketchups so I asked for a few more. I got them and was about to leave and I hear the lady working in the back (I assume she thinks I already left or couldn’t hear me) carrying on and outraged I asked for more. Ridiculing me and saying I am going to have to start paying for them to her coworkers and everyone else in the place to hear. Very bizarre especially after paying a fairly premium price. I ended up with 5 single packets. Food was barely average. I would never go again.

Wings were horrible. Not crispy at all. BARELY any sauce. The meat of the wing felt like cartilage. Won’t go back for the wings. The burgers were good tho.

I like their food but when I had finished paying, my receipt came out of the machine and the cashier told me to grab it, so I did. Then another employee started accusing me that I took from their tip jar! I stated that I had been told to grab my receipt and she continued to tell me I stole from their tips! I continued to show her evidence that I literally grabbed the receipt. She finally dropped the accusation and tried to make up for it by telling me my purse was cute but I will never be going back there again.

Burger/fries were served room temp, with 1 tiny tomato slice and no mayo I ordered. Dude called my name then told me no he didn’t call my name and just walked away. This was 10 seconds after he called it. I had to yell after him to get his attention again. He came back, rechecked the 2 orders on the counter, and handed me my food, without a word. It was cold. It was okay for me. I liked the sweet potato fries. The burger was alright. It was bit bitter from the burnt parts on the patty. I got it large fatburger with “the works” and cheese. I should have added additional toppings.

Some of the worst customer service you can find. Ive gone to this restaurant 3 times and this tall bald man has tried to tell me I can’t pickup my food. The counter says pickup food here and yet when you grab your order, you’re met with more security than the louvre. “I dont care if you paid for it, you can’t just take it”. Then he wouldn’t even let me get my own drink, he filled my drink like im a kid or something and didn’t get me a straw. I was in uniform with my name on my jacket that he could read and he made me confirm who I was , when nobody else around had to do that. Buddy also likes to walk around and ask you “If you know the rules” even while mid sentence with people you came with, he doesnt care who he is interrupting. Completely disrespectful. He needs to go back to school and learn how to be an effective manager. If I was the owner, I would be ashamed at the output their employees are producing.

Burger was cold! and the chicken tasted like old grease and burnt no cheese on any of our burgers the service was bad too we were ignored while we stood there waiting for our order which was sitting right there! Don’t waste your money!

I grabbed a meal from here to-go about a year ago. The food was excellent but I was put off by the rude staff and the manager at the time charging me more than the price listed on the menu board. When I asked why back then, he told me that pricing didn’t go off what was posted on the board, which I found odd.
I was a bit hesitant to return, but found my way back today.
COMPLETELY opposite experience. The staff were kind and courteous. Very pleasant and efficient. The manager was awesome! Got my order down to a tee, checked on me often, made sure I had everything I needed… just everything you’d hope for in a restaurant experience.
Oh, and the food is still amazing!
So I will add this into my visits more frequently going forward. Probably the best burger I’ve had in the Fairbanks area!

I had the veggie burger Patty and it was just as good as the real burger Patty. Very happy it had the veggie option if you are a full vegan. Small place, I would rather pick up and take home to eat next time. I’m from Georgia and someone told us to come try this place before we left and I’m glad we did.
