Fell in love with Fatburger while visiting LA. Im not a huge red meat eater however, when I have a taste for a burger Im here. I was ecstatic to see there are 2 locations in the Chicago, I must visit the other location next.
The burger is big and beefy, the bacon is real and thick, the fries were hot and fresh soft and crispy, and the banana shake was amazing.
The young staff was pleasant, polite, and brought my food out to the table. They asked was I ok and did I need anything else.
With that kind of customer service in this generation is awesome. See ya next visit!

By far the BEST burger spot in Chi for us. So nice how customizable they are and love the fry options. Everyone that works here is so cool too, will always be coming back and recommended to everyone we know!

The place was dirty, the employees seemed like they didn’t care like we’re bothering them. The chicken wings was bland even with the sauce, its like they just fried it without anything and tossed it in sauce, the drinks and condiments area smelled really bad, like it hasn’t been cleaned, the floor smelled like they have been reusing the same mop and dirty water. Tables were sticky, floor was sticky, bathroom was disgusting, even after an employee used it, you’d think they would see the mess and how gross the bathroom is, but NO. Never coming back again.

Being a husky gentleman I’ve had a burger or three in my day. I went into this restaurant with a completely open mind. I know it’s a California chain but not much else. My son had had it in California so he was really looking forward to going there. Honesty, it was incredibly delicious. I was pleasantly surprised how good it was from an unassuming chain burger joint. It went way behind what I could have imagined. Everyone was friendly. The food was great. The place was empty so I was cool with that. I went with the Large Fatburger with fat fries. I also ordered an order of lemon pepper wings. The burger was killler the wings were a little salty.

First time eating at Fatburger and to sum it up…it was a decent experience. The service was ok. I felt a bit rushed while ordering. The OG burger tasted like a Chicago style hotdog because of the relish on it. I enjoyed that surprise burst of flavor. But the bun was hard and the meat was dry. The western bacon bbq burger was decent. But the bun was hard. As for the chicken, I tried the coconut jerk, asian sesame and sweet bourbon bbq. The sweet bourbon bbq was the best flavor. The other flavors had great potential but they fell flat. The best thing was the house made lemonade!! It was made perfectly. The lemonade is what I enjoyed the most. I will definitely return for the lemonade.

First time at this location and my first time trying Fatburger. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the location is good, and the restaurant itself was a good size and pretty clean. The food itself was okay. The portions (besides the double Fatburger) were pretty small, considering the price. Might try it again if in the area.

Wow.. long time since I wanted to try this place and I am glad I did. This place makes a really good burger. Guys, for real, I eat there only once and keep thinking about when to go again. The burger is just one of the best I ever had. This place must be packed with customers. Great experience and will be back soon.

The XXL Wingman put me in a food coma. It was a lot bigger than I assumed. I could literally feed two to three people with it. I couldn’t finish the burger, but that’s okay because it won’t go to waste—lunch for later. I did get it with the works. However, I’m not a fan of relish; that’s my only complaint. I will not get it with relish next time. They gave me three bone-in wings cooked to perfection. They had a nice crunch, and the flavor was on point.
This place is 1,000 times better than Smashburger and cheaper too. This is a must-go-to place if you like good-quality burgers and wings. The shakes are great as well. My preteen got the kids meal and was pleased with the amount and quality of flavor.

First time going to Fatburger and I was not disappointed! I had a single patty burger with all the works(literally everything) which was so good but I think if I had it again I would do either pickles or relish but not both as it made it a little too tangy for me liking. The fries were so yummy, my whole family did skinny fries and they were honestly so delicious! My girls got wings which I did not try however they were not thrilled about (sorry) but my daughter did try my burger and immediately regretted not going with that instead of wings.
