I am very disappointed with the food I received from there today. The sausage was very sad. The cornbread was undercooked. The macaroni was soupy and not cheesy at all. I hope this isn’t a representation of the midwests bbq.

Won’t eat here again. The portion to value is terrible for starters… 2nd, your kids working the til/window/ etc… had asked me if I wanted to leave gratuity before he even ran my card, I ALWAYS leave $10 minimum especially for small businesses and younger employees, however, asking me that way rather than give me a receipt so I could fill it out was sorta dumb. I actually paid with card and had a $10 bill I was going to tip, it was awkward so I asked him to break the $10 into to $5’s because at that point he was only gonna get $5… then he struck a nerve and I didn’t tip anything at all. When I sat put back on the tables, I spilled the baked bean soup all over my hand because it’s extremely runny and tight lid, an whadya know, no napkins… glad I didn’t tip a man for 1 star experience. Finally, let’s get to the Mac an cheese and the beans, I didn’t order baked bean SOUP or Mac N Cheese soup…. terrible. Mac n cheese is suppose to be THICK and CHEESY when paired with BBQ, don’t need to fancy it up… waste of $20, still hungry if I’m being honest…

No inside dining due to “staff shortages”. Food taste reheated, not fresh made daily. Ownership openly admitted in a response to a previous review regarding tipping that they as restaurant owner take the tips left for the staff instead of giving them to the staff providing service.

No dinning in due to no staff. Carry out only. Food is really good but buyer beware. Price listed on website may differ from what you end up paying. The cornbread though..!❤️

Ordered online. Ordered 3 sandwiches each with sides. On each I up sizd the sides so they could be shared. When paying I was asked what tip amount I wanted to give. TIP??? Why should I tip? I am driving to pick it up at a drive through window, so I chose not to give a tip. Well, that was a mistake because they chose to give me the small size sides despite paying for the larger ones.

Great BBQ I get the pulled pork everytime I recently tried the pulled pork sandwich only complaint is that the bottom bun was a like soggy but its understandable the mac n cheese is really good and so is the BBQ sauce

The lobby was closed so I had to go through drive-through. They ask you for a tip right off riff. I got the platter. Pulled pork was cold mac & cheese was disgusting. Couldn’t even finish it super wet. Chicken was all right. Brisket was good. Ribs were there…. Really small portions. I’m tired of bbq places prices and huge promises of the best… corn bread saved from lower score. That was actually the highlight.

My first time here. It was highly recommended by several pepple. I expected it to be amazing. Looking at the menu online, the food looked very good. My husband ordered a brisket sandwich. I ordered the brisket nachos. Lobby was closed so we had to go thru drive thru to pick up. We waited 10 minutes past our pickup time. So I was hoping the food was gonna be worth it for the amount we spent. The cornbread and Mac n cheese was amazing. The cornbread is definitely something I recommend. They were extremely stingy on meat for my nachos. But my husband was pleased with his sandwich. He got a generous amount of meat. It was just right for him. I might return to give them another chance.

Nice home town BBQ. Staff was friendly and easily ordered at the counter for 1st time customer. Had the fat back sandwich. BBQ pork with slaw. Very good but a bit soggy bottom bun. Mac and cheese was well seasoned. Fair price. Pickle spear could be better. Overall nice place. Will be back to try more.
